Luhambo Tours. A Superb Day with a Custom Itinerary and Delightful Guide - A beautifully curated tour that accommodated our preferences with style and insight. We chose to tailor the day to just 2 wineries with time left for visiting both Franschhoeck and Stellenbosch. We suggested the tour company select two of their favourite wineries with a lunch at one of them and the result was a lovely blend of tasting and dining coupled with an extraordinary tour through the magnificent countryside. Oh, and great shopping to boot! Marlene, our driver and guide, was extremely knowledgeable and polished in presenting the region to us with an insight only locals truly know. We wished we had known that this company also offered different itineraries that included the southern cape region and the wineries that can be found there, but I was too focussed on this region to think to ask of other trip offerings that would further complement our five days in Capetown. Definitely worth doing with such a terrific offering and attention to detail. Cedric, the owner, was extremely prompt in acknowledging our requests, and he clearly has cultivated a superb team of professionals in a boutique approach to service and knowledge.

Superb personalised tour - What can I say, the most wonderful few days exploring the wine region with Cedric. From my initial enquiry all questions were answered swiftly and fully, Cedric quickly ascertained what types of wine we liked and came up with suggestions of vineyards to visit. Having worked in the region for a number of years Cedric has an excellent relationship with many vineyards and often got a bottle of wine opened for us to taste that is not normally offered as part of a tasting. Our itinerary was modified as Cedric got to know our tastes more, and introduced us to some special wines, some of which we bought home with us. Cedric is also an excellent travel guide, very knowledgable and obviously very proud of the beautiful country he lives in, but knows it’s problems and ishappy to discuss the not too pretty bits too. Amazing Wine Tour - I booked a private custom tour and the entire experience was amazing! Cedric helped me create an itinerary based on my desires and Marlene brought everything to life! She was so knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating! I’m pretty knowledgeable about wine but I learned so much. She even accommodated us when we needed a ride to the airport at the last minute. Fabulous Private Wine Tour - Great way to explore the Cape Winelands. We took a private wine tour today. Marlene our guide for the day, picked us up from our hotel and drove us to Franschhoek and Stellenbosch. We enjoyed the drive there as Marlene gave us lots of information about the area and the types of wines we would be trying. We had a fabulous day, our favorites were Rainbows End and Knanskop. We then had a nice lunch at the Postcards Cafe...the setting is idyllic. We had a full day and Marlene dropped us off at our hotel at the end of the day. Thank you so much.

She arrived promptly in a spotless, comfortable minivan and immediately made us feel welcome. Fantastic day - We had an exceptional day touring the vineyards of Stellenbosch, made truly memorable by our tour guide, Marlene. Her in-depth knowledge of the working vineyards brought the region to life and helped us fully understand the different varieties of wine and how they are produced. Marlene provided outstanding service throughout the day, allowing us to relax and really take in this beautiful region. The vineyards she selected were absolutely stunning, and lunch was perfectly arranged in an idyllic setting that complemented the tour beautifully.
