It felt far more personal and authentic than a standard wine tour. - We absolutely loved the Stellenbosch Wine Walk and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Cape Winelands. Geoff was an incredible host and guide, bringing so much energy, knowledge, and personality to the day. It felt far more personal and authentic than a standard wine tour.
The walk itself was stunning, taking us through beautiful vineyard landscapes with visits to three exceptional wine farms. Each tasting was unique and expertly chosen, giving us a wonderful sense of the diversity and quality of Stellenbosch wines.
What really made the experience stand out was Geoff’s storytelling and deep understanding of the region’s history, wine culture, and people. He created such a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that the whole day felt effortless and enjoyable from beginning to end.
Everything was perfectly paced and thoughtfully organised, with the ideal balance of walking, wine, scenery, and conversation. The combination of spectacular surroundings, outstanding wines, and Geoff’s genuine passion made this one of the highlights of our trip to South Africa.

An experience of a balance between luxury, authenticity, and genuine human connection. - The Stellenbosch Wine Walk was one of the absolute highlights of our time in the Cape Winelands. Geoff was exceptional from start to finish. His knowledge, passion, storytelling, and warm personality transformed what could have been just another wine tour into a truly memorable experience.
The walk through the vineyards was beautifully paced and incredibly scenic, with visits to three outstanding wine farms, each offering excellent and distinctive tastings. Geoff’s deep understanding of the history of Stellenbosch, the wines, the estates, and the region itself added enormous depth to the day.
What really sets this experience apart is the balance between luxury, authenticity, and genuine human connection. It never felt rushed or commercial. Geoff curated the experience perfectly, ensuring every guest felt welcomed and engaged throughout.

The best experience in South Africa - Completely worthwhile and an absolutely amazing experience. The Stellenbosch Wine Walk was beautifully put together with incredible scenery, excellent wines, fascinating stories, and a wonderful relaxed atmosphere throughout the day. It felt authentic, personal, and far more special than a standard wine tour. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the true beauty and spirit of Stellenbosch.

Interesting and fun walking tour through the vineyards with breathtaking views! - What a very fun and interesting walking tour this tour was.
In 4 to 5 hours, our tour guide Geoff took us into a piece of history, explained the flora and fauna and discussed countless other topics. Meanwhile, the breathtaking nature could be enjoyed. It was a walking tour with a personal complexion which we really liked.
The wine tastings are lavish. You get to taste very different wines in three completely different wineries. The snacks on the way are good.
Tips: Easily wear (hiking) shoes, wear a cap or hat against the sun, apply some oil and make sure you have breakfast.

An abundance of humour and knowledge - Despite my husband and I feeling under the weather we decided to get up and out early for this trip and we were so happy we did. As an experienced travel guide author Geoff was a mine of information about the region and its history delivered with an abundance of humour. This trip is a gentle walk and taking in of the views stopping at four winemakers for tasting along route. Don’t be concerned about the walk. It’s not a route march.
In our opinion it was a much better way to see, feel, taste and smell the region and its wine than any tram or bus tour.

What a wonderful way to experience the Winelands - We had a fantastic day on the Stellenbosch Wine Walk with Geoff. Walking through the vineyards and beautiful countryside around was an unforgettable experience, and the scenery the whole way was stunning.
Geoff was a brilliant guide – friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the history and wines of the area. We especially enjoyed visiting Tokara and Thelma each offering something unique.
The walk was relaxed and well paced, and everything was perfectly organized. A wonderful way to experience the winelands, we would highly recommend it.

Best wine tour ever! - This tour with Geoff was absolutely brilliant. His wit and charm really enhances the day as did our fellow guests. If you are concerned about the walking the don’t as it’s just a gentle meander through the vines and olive groves. Thelima in particular was a fabulous winery and our host was an incredible lady who enhanced the experience with her humour. Don’t just think about this trip do it. Much better than an anonymous taxi or wine tram.
