A very enjoyable walk though Stellenbosch - The guide was very passionate about the history behind the walking tour, which made it very interesting. We were able to go into some of the buildings on the route, which added unexpected insights to the tour.

Nice Historical Stroll - Informative gentle stroll around the central town area. Fascinating to hear about the development of the town from a mere settlement to the city it now is. Plus the early adventures and mishaps along the way. Informative guide, and a gentle pace on level streets. Marlene, the guide, was approachable and pleasant. Of note the booking information gives the start point simply as 47 Church Street. This is actually the tourist information centre, which is signposted, so look out for those. Also there are toilets there.

Very slow paced stroll - Enjoyable but didn't feel we got as much out of it as we could. Had booked because we only had v little time in S'bosch but pace was so slow we covered little ground. We were advised sights were 'over there' (the river). Pleasant but didn't come away feeling we'd learnt much.

Stellenbosch history - Nice walk around the central Stellenbosch. Always educational on these city walks, even if we have done this in Stellenbosch before. We saw completely new things this time.
