Once a thriving port on the Firth of Forth, Culross is home to an impressive array of historic buildings, some dating back to the 12th century. Visitors can stroll through the cobbled streets, admire the ochre-colored houses, and enjoy 30 minutes to absorb the atmosphere, take stunning photos, and experience the charm and culture of a genuine traditional Scottish village.
- Tullibardine Distillery - The tour continues through the scenic Scottish countryside, passing near the renowned Gleneagles Golf Club, before reaching the Tullibardine Distillery. Guests have the option to join the 45-minute “Classic Tour” (entry not included, please pre-book tickets) to learn about the whisky-making process and sample some of their finest single malt. Alternatively, visitors can relax in the distillery café, explore the well-stocked shop for gifts and local treats, or simply enjoy the picturesque surroundings before the journey proceeds.
- Stirling - The adventure moves on to the historic city of Stirling, the gateway to the Trossachs, surrounded by dramatic, forested hills. Here, visitors can choose to explore the magnificent Stirling Castle (admission not included), once a favored residence of the Stuart kings and the coronation site of Mary, Queen of Scots. Guests can wander through its grand halls, expansive ramparts, and atmospheric courtyards, imagining the power and intrigue that once filled these walls.
For those who prefer not to enter, there is the option to walk around the castle’s impressive exterior and enjoy the breathtaking views from the esplanade. The panoramic scenery of the surrounding countryside is not to be missed, along with the striking Wallace Monument standing proudly on a nearby hilltop—a tribute to Scotland’s legendary freedom fighter, immortalized in Braveheart.
- Falkirk - Heading south towards Falkirk, the narrated journey leads to an engineering marvel that combines modern innovation with historic transport. At the Falkirk Wheel, visitors can witness the world’s only rotating boat lift, which elegantly raises canal boats 79 feet between two canals. The impressive design and this incredible engineering feat are a sight to behold.
- The Kelpies & The Helix - Following the visit to the Falkirk Wheel, a short trip east leads to the iconic statues known as The Kelpies. These towering horse-head sculptures serve as a powerful tribute to Scotland’s working horses and industrial heritage. Visitors are welcome to explore the visitor center, learn about the history and symbolism behind the Kelpies, and capture stunning photos that will preserve the memory of the visit for years to come.
