What to take for kayaking: appropriate outdoor clothing for the weather, a rain jacket, sandals, change of clothes if you get wet, sun protection, sunglasses or eyeglasses secured with straps, swimwear and towel if you wish to take a bath.

Magnificent kayaking experience! - This is an amazing experience, and the beauty of the surroundings and knowledge and professionalism of the guide made it a highlight of my trip to Sweden. The pretrip routine was clear and focused on safety. Then Sam our guide took a group of five of us around the various islands, including a view of the Vaxholm fortress, and the trip included a refreshing break on a beach with delicious snacks and tea/coffee. Good weather and calm winds certainly help, but I would recommend this outfit to anyone. We saw two giant eagles and their nest, and I came away with a much better sense of the archipelago. Do it!

A Stockholm MUST - The highlight of our trip to Stockholm! Wonderful scenery, top notch gear, and a delicious feast! Our guide, Sam, was amazing! He is incredibly smart, knowledgeable, engaging, and encouraging! He led an incredible tour which brought us through the Swedish Archipelago. The fika was a unique and delicious way to learn more about Sweden as well. It filled us up until dinner! Would 110% recommend this for anyone who loves getting out into nature and seeing what Sweden truly has to offer! Gave it 5 stars because we couldn’t give it 6!

One of the highlights of our trip! - This was one of the highlights of our stay in Stockholm. Sam was an amazing host and made the trip interesting and fun for all of us. He even arranged for great weather for us. The equipment was top notch and the Fika was delicious. It didn’t feel rushed at all and was a great escape from the city!

Wonderful, professional - I rented a sea kayak from Skargardens Kanotcenter for a daytrip around the archipelago this summer in July, and it was such a seamless experience. The staff at Skargardens are very knowledgeable about the area and provided excellent insights on what routes to take within the archipelago, which parts to avoid e.g. due to boat traffic. Theresa and Maeli were excellent, attentive and very helpful. Overall, highly recommend visiting if you're looking for a nature adventure near the outskirts of Stockholm. Kudos to the team for keeping such an immaculate and well-stocked place!

Best tour! - We had a wonderful time! Theresa was so lovely, calm, and engaging! She was a great guide, full of information about the area and packed a lovely lunch. We were so impressed with the trip! A must do!

Amazing experience - Excellent trip with Florian! The trip was safe, fun and he was a great guide. It was a great workout. All safety precautions are taken and I felt safe at all times. The lunch picnic was so great and Swedish food was excellent. Only thing I would point out is this site is about 30-45 min outside of Stockholm so it's a bit of travel. Uber is not an option out there, but there's a bus station across the street and you can tap-pay the bus with any credit card.

Favorite part of Sweden trip - This was such a great experience. Our tour guide was amazing. He was patient calm and very knowledgeable about the land. We felt safe and in good hands the whole time. The views were unbelievable and we throughly enjoyed our fika break! Would absolutely do this trip again!

A highlight of our trip to Sweden. - This was a real highlight of our trip to Stockholm. We had a terrific tour of the Archipelago around Vaxholm, with Fika, and very much enjoyed spending time with our guide Linnea. The centre also has a Sauna which we very much enjoyed. Highly recommended.

Serene kayak trip through small islands! - Great trip and Max was a great guide! Two- person ocean kayak can be hard to operate the rudder pedals if you have large sneakers on. Should recommend flat shoes or sandals for the person who steers the kayak.
