Starting from Aberdeen, the adventure kicks off at Perthumie Bay, where visitors can see ancient metamorphosed ocean sediments of the Highland Terrane. The journey then proceeds south to the Highland Boundary Fault, a striking division between the rugged Grampian Highlands and the gentler landscapes of the Midland Valley. Participants will also explore the Midland Valley’s desert river sediments and lavas in the charming village of Stonehaven.
