Incredible early morning... - Incredible early morning tour to Preikestolen with Stephan and his colleague. The trip was very entertaining, telling stories, and I received a lot of useful information about the place and activities to do in Stavanger. Despite being the only person with a reservation, they didn't cancel my excursion, which is very valuable since I didn't have another opportunity to do it. I definitely recommend them. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thanks for the experience.

From Erlend to Balder,... - From Erlend to Balder, amazing experience during the entire hike. Erlend didn't miss any detail or the anecdotes while Balder help to be easier the way up hill. Amazing view at the top with the sunrise where we found The Pulpit Rock all for ourselves. Highly recommended.

Guide went extra mile to overcome last minute problems and let us enjoy the trip - Stephan was an excellent guide.
He had some last minute trouble with the other guide (which was supposed to accompany us) and promptly called us to find some alternatives and allow us to partecipate in this activity at our convenience.
Along the trail he was a great companion and also provided us with some insights for local culture and fantastic places for taking amazing photos.
1010 would reccomend

Preikestolen hike - Stellar! Erlend was an amazing guide, providing information, interesting stories, and light-hearted humor along the hike. He was also very thoughtful about our needs. He knew the best places to take pictures, brought warm berry juice, which was amazing, and also provided equipment such as hiking poles and cramp-on spikes. The hike gave us stunning views of the fjord and surroundings. Baba the guide dog was also a fun addition to our group.

Review of Hidden trail not sunrise. But read my review anyway - I originally booked this hike, but due to unforeseen circumstances, it was cancelled. Instead, I was offered the Preikestolen Hidden Trail hike, and it turned out to be absolutely amazing! The hidden trail takes you on a different route where we didn’t encounter any other tourists, and I would choose this over the regular Preikestolen route any day.
However, be aware that this hike can be a bit technical at times, requiring caution. It wasn’t entirely straightforward, especially a segment where we had to cross from one rock to another. Since it had rained the night before, the trail was slippery, and a couple of people ended up with a few minor bruises. As long as you have average fitness and some hiking experience, you should be fine. But if you're unfit or overweight, you might want to stick to the regular route.
Lastly, our guide Erlend was fantastic! He knew the trail well, provided snacks, and his adorable dog, Balder, was such a joy to have along the hike. If you're visiting Preikestolen, I highly recommend this tour!

Sunrise hike-A hike that always be remembered ! - It was an amazing experience and I want to share it with all the people that are thinking to do this hike. Please do not hesitate to book the Preikestolen hike with Explore Lysefjorden!!!
We were a small group of people that wanted to do the sunrise hike. They came to pick us up exactly on time ,we had a car ride for about 40 minutes and our guide Erlend was extremely friendly and made us all feel comfortable. He has an amazing dog that followed as through the hike and we all loved him!His nickname is Baba.
The sunrise hike is amazing because it feels more mysterious and calm at the same time and the scenery changes hour by hour.We had head lamps that helped us during the first hour of hiking but to be honest after that we didn’t use them at all.As you go through the colours of the scenery around you are amazing and Erlend took some beautiful photos for us.Finally when we reached the Preikestolen it was the time that the sun was rising so we saw all this beauty from the beginning and Erlend gave us snacks and hot berry juice that we really enjoyed! We took breath taking pictures ,we saw a marriage proposal ,enjoy the morning sun with the few people that were there at that time (that’s another privilege of the sunrise hike )and started to go back.We enjoy the nature with the morning light and we had a delicious breakfast provided with the hike at the Preikestolen base Camp with an amazing view at the fjord!
It was an experience that I will always remember and I thank Erlend ,Baba and Explore Lysefjorden for that.It was my second hike (first was reinebringen but I find Preikestolen more easy and interesting )
SUNRISE HIKE IS THE BEST!Weather makes a big impact to the hike as well!We were extremely lucky with that!So check the weather forecast and if you have time and days to spend choose the best weather option .
Enjoy hiking in Norway because is the best!

Wonderful experience, beautiful hike! - Wonderful experience, beautiful hike, loved it!! We were there almost on our own (with the guide! And no one else) Then we went back via a different trail, a mountain trail, it was a true hike experience with amazing views and magical sunrise! And a Great breakfast after the effort of an early rise and hike. Thank you!

Top 10 Life Experience! - The Sunrise Hike to Pulpit Rock was an incredible experience. Erlend and his dog, Balder, were the best guides. While the hike can be done without a guide, so much would have been missed without Erlend’s expertise. Also, there’s something so very special about hiking with a dog - Balder brought so much joy to the day. Erlend was attentive to our capabilities and went out of the way to take many gorgeous pictures - two which are attached to this review. Of course, it helped that the weather was on our side, but even without perfect conditions, the view would have still been a stunner. We were allowed all the time we desired to absorb the beauty of the sunrise. After the hike, we visited a local bakery for the most delicious meal. The bread in Norway is out of this world. I highly recommend doing this specific tour. Definitely in my top 10 experiences!

So worth going at this time to miss the crowds. - Would love to have given it 5 stars but unfortunately we were given the incorrect meeting time so that didn’t set us up for a great start. All correspondence said 12am but really it should have been 1.10am.
Apart from that the hike was great, our guide was excellent, didn’t get our sunrise but felt fortunate to have views. Loved having the rock to ourselves and got some awesome pictures!!
