A great activity to see more of Geiranger and the surrounding area - Great fun, 3 of us just off a cruise ship so very short walk to the office. Minibus uplift to the top by a large lake to collect the bikes.
All bikes are fairly new and in very good condition being well maintained they also provide cycle helmets and gloves with a Hi-Viz for safety on the road.
They call this down hill but if you are into mountain biking this isn’t the Downhill you expect you are coming down a hill from 1000M to the Fjord but it’s all on the road. This may sound boring but we still took 2Hrs to cover the 17km stopping often for photos and to look at the waterfalls. Amazing views especially the Fast Jets buzzing us in the valley…😃
It’s a very very easy ride no need to pedal for most of it as it’s all downhill on a smooth road but maybe not ideal for small kids as the road has cars and busses.
We had lots of fun and would book again the staff are very friendly and spoke many languages.

Awesome experience for the brave. - Awesome experience, but not for the faint of heart, children, or novice cyclists. 1000 m (3383 ft) drop over 17 km from the mountains at the top of the fjord back to Geiranger. Several places with 10+% grade. Trip took us 1-1/2 hours with plenty of stops for photos. Very cold on top, but things warmed up as we dropped. Not particularly challenging, just a bit unnerving going really fast on a narrow, twisty road with several blind 180 degree corners. What a hoot!

Easier than it sounds - enjoy the ride and views ! - This was fantastic. Weather dependent, so bring a jacket. A vip shuttle to the snow-filled “ sky” drop off point - where you, pick up bike helmet gloves and vest. Then you’re on your own. It’s a long drive up, but don’t panic. It’s a fast ride down the 2 lane road. Be careful of the tour buses - and hair pin turns. Use your map and peel off to side roads and through the farm land dirt paths. Lastly, don’t forget to stop and snap the views.

This was one of our... - This was one of our favorite excursions, the views are amazing, and it so much fun to go downhill. There was only a small section where you have to peddle slightly uphill.

Best excursion of our Norwegian cruise, by far! - This was an amazing excursion! The views we encountered on the ride down from the glacial lake at the top back down to the port were absolutely stunning. Excellent customer service. Could not recommend this enough!

Stunning views - Breathtaking views, lots of places to stop and take photos, we came from the cruise ship, just a short walk away and so much cheaper than booking with Cunard. Our trip was booked for 10am but they offered to move it to 1pm as it was very foggy. A must do !

Unique experience between the fjords - Beautiful descent with good bikes and perfectly safe. Relatively expensive but a unique experience along the winding road
