Local county officials preserve the park, offering free admission to the picnic areas, trails, and spectacular views just up the beach from Whitefish Dunes State Park

The tour begins on the picturesque shores of Lake Michigan, with the shop conveniently situated at Lake Park Beach. The journey proceeds south along a serene road lined with cedar and white pine trees, leading to Cave Point County Park. Here, participants can explore the caves, enjoy a hike, and watch the waves crash against the shore. Afterward, the group will ride their bikes to Whitefish Dunes State Park, where a brief hike reveals the ancient dune system. Before returning, there is a quick stop at a secret beach. The tour utilizes Rad Power E-Bikes, accommodating riders from 4’11” to 6’2” and supporting a maximum weight of 300 lbs. A staff member will provide guidance on using the electric bikes. E-bike rentals are perfect for families, and no prior experience is required!
