Bucovina – Sucevita – Moldovita – Voronet – Piatra Neamt

Moldovita Monastery - Constructed in 1532, Moldovita Monastery was initially established as a monastery for monks and later transformed into a convent for nuns.

Sucevita Monastery - Sucevita, the largest of all, resembles a formidable fortress more than a monastery. As the last to be adorned with exterior paintings, it features Bucovina’s best-preserved frescoes.

Manastirea Voronet - Conclude your visit with the renowned Voronet Convent, often referred to as “The Sixtine Chapel of the Orient.” Built in 1488, Voronet Monastery was among the first to showcase Moldavian creativity with a unique style. The church blends Byzantine, Gothic, and local elements. The western wall’s exterior painting uniquely depicts the Doomsday scene across five registers. Voronet Monastery is part of the universal cultural heritage, famed for the distinctive “Voronet blue” in its paintings.

Day 3: Piatra Neamt – Lacu Rosu – Brasov – Bran – Bucharest

Brasov - Today, cross the Carpathian Mountains to enter the legendary land of Transylvania. Stop in Brasov, considered one of Romania’s most beautiful cities. Enjoy lunch at a traditional restaurant and a delightful stroll through the narrow, cobblestone streets of the old city center. Visit The Council Square, The Council Tower, and the renowned Black Church, the largest Gothic structure in Eastern Europe.

Bran Castle (Dracula’s Castle) - Explore Bran Castle, made famous by the Dracula legend. Discover the origins of this legend and why Transylvania remains associated with it to this day.
