- Sumida - The meeting point is a park near the sumo stable, where the guide will outline the tour schedule, rules, and etiquette for observing the training. Participants will also receive printed materials about sumo to enhance their tour experience.
During this time, the guide will provide a brief overview of sumo history and basic rules, which will enrich the enjoyment of the morning practice.
- Sumida - Attendees will watch the morning sumo training at the stable for approximately two hours, with opportunities to take photographs.
After the practice, male participants will engage in a 30-minute hands-on sumo experience with the wrestlers.
They will learn to perform the traditional shiko (foot stomping) and participate in a mock match with real sumo wrestlers—an exclusive experience.
Female participants, due to tradition, are not permitted to enter the ring but will receive unique sumo-themed gifts not available elsewhere—something special to anticipate!
Following this, there will be about an hour to enjoy chanko (sumo stew) with the wrestlers and the stable master, providing ample time for questions and interaction.
