Participants start by choosing a T-shirt in either black or white, with sizes available from Women’s M and L to Men’s XXXL. Then, select a kanji character from our curated list and pick your preferred ink color from our extensive range.
Using a soft chalk pencil, sketch the chosen kanji onto your T-shirt. If needed, our instructor can demonstrate your selected kanji for guidance, and you can keep the sample. Once your sketch is complete, and after receiving personalized tips from your instructor, proceed to paint the kanji with your chosen ink color.
To complete the process, gently remove any excess ink with absorbent sheets. You can then wear your custom T-shirt or take it home neatly folded in a plastic bag.
This activity is also available on traditional lanterns, following the same steps. Whether on fabric or paper, you’ll leave with a handcrafted souvenir—a creative memory from your visit to Japan.
Each session lasts about an hour, filled with imagination and fun, just as it should be!
