The guide will begin by detailing the origins, history, rules, and enjoyment of sumo wrestling. Sumo wrestlers put in tremendous effort to increase their strength, as their ranking has a direct impact on their earnings. Morning practice commences before 7:00 a.m. with stretching, warming up, and a series of fundamental sumo movements. The stable is entered around 8:00 a.m. when practice matches begin. The sounds of wrestlers colliding repeatedly will be overwhelming. At this point, it becomes evident that their bodies are composed of a massive amount of muscle. When they stretch to cool down, it is surprising to see how flexible they are, which may seem counterintuitive given their large physiques.
There will often be an opportunity to take photos with them after practice.
