Sumo comedy - Me and Lishan spent an awesome morning watching the sumo show. We learn a lot about sumo in general and the food that we had after was very good. And it was super entertaining. It was also a very nice opportunity to meet new people.

Must do family experience! - I highly recommend that everyone that comes to Tokyo should do this. It was fun informational interactive and the meal we had was delicious. Our host was very welcoming and the sumo wrestler seem to enjoy demonstrating their knowledge while having fun doing it.

Fun morning! - This was a fun experience - a lot more for my teen than me. It’s a little gimmicky but they do touch upon the nuances of the art itself. The food is yum and loved the variety!

An Unforgettable Sumo Experience - Fun for the Whole Family! - We had an absolutely incredible time at the sumo demonstration in Tokyo today. It was the perfect blend of culture, humor, and excitement that kept the whole family engaged. The two former professional wrestlers were fantastic, explaining the traditions of the sport while remaining very entertaining. The absolute highlight for us was the audience participation; our kids were absolutely thrilled and couldn't stop laughing when my husband got the chance to "compete" against the pros in the ring. To top it all off, the Chanko Nabe hot pot lunch was delicious and very authentic—even the children really enjoyed the food. It is a wonderful, high-energy experience that I would highly recommend to any family visiting Tokyo.

Great time - This was too much fun! Definitely learned something’s about sumo. The rikishi were personable and formidable. You definitely have to volunteer! I haven’t laugh so hard in a while. The hot pot was good and the pork cutlet huge!

Showed up late - We showed up late, so we missed the warm up and real match, but I got to wrestle the guy. Food was good after. Touristy, but glad we did it

Sumo wrestling not Sumo wrestling SHOW - For other people it may be unpleasant, but it was a waste of time for us Turks. To experience sumo wrestling, which is an important part of my Japanese culture, I suggest only entering real sumo tournaments. This show isn't for us, we are 10 different attractions each day, but it's our fault that the food isn't proper, because I didn't have enough time to research this itinerary too late, but I suggest that the managers should make sure all of the activities on this site are proper. Other contributors were quite entertained and seemed to be satisfied. If you live 1 week in Turkey, they'll be 4 corners away😂

Shows, whether or not - Friends looked at the reviews on the show and thought we'd watch a real sumo wrestling, but because of our ignorance, it's just a show, just imitating how the sumos are training, and giving you time to take a photo and video like they are lying to the sumos. Unfortunately, the food culture doesn’t match us, so be sure to check before all tours in Japan

Be Careful: Hidden Conditions and No Proper Support. Misleading Information About Vegetarian Options. - We booked a sumo wrestling experience with lunch through Alava Japan Tours, but our experience was very disappointing. When we arrived, we were informed that only non-vegetarian food was available. At the time of booking, there was no clear mention that vegetarian meals were not included, nor was there any information stating that a special request needed to be made 24–48 hours in advance. This lack of transparency caused unnecessary inconvenience. We had to discuss and argue at the reception before they finally agreed to refund the lunch portion. I have also sent a follow-up email regarding this issue, but there has been no response so far. Overall, the service was poorly managed, with unclear communication and misleading information. I would advise others to be cautious and double-check all details before booking.
