What an exciting experience! - The teacher is very kind. She taught me how to make authentic sushi and Japanese cuisine. Fish was fresh and high quality. Making sushi to eat by myself was a special experience. 海外の方だけでなく日本人にもぜひ体験してもらいたいです。

Highly recommended experience with great English speaking teacher - This was a tremendous experience. Toshie & Hiroshi are a wonderful team who have an amazing amount of both patience and experience to be able to walk people who have no experience through the intricacies of making Maki, Nigiri, Miso soup, and more. We our children with us as they thoroughly enjoyed the experience as well. Toshie's English is excellent, and she is a wonderful teacher. We honestly cannot thank them both enough for such a great experience and the inspiration to want to make sushi at home!

Outstanding class - I would rate this class a 10 if TripAdvisor allowed it. My wife Gwen and I had the best time here. The attention we received was outstanding. The sides we made were tasty. The Japanese omelets we made were fantastic, and the miso soup and sushi were the best. I highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Tokyo.

Very unique experience! - It was such a personal and amazing experience. Truly one of a kind. It felt like we were invited into a friend’s home and taught how to make traditional Japanese food. The owners are the sweetest people. It was so much fun. If you have a love for Japanese culture and food, please do this!

Toshie helped us become sushi masters! - Toshie and her partner were INCREDIBLE. My wife and I love sushi but have never tried to make it so are total newbies. Over the course of a few hours she explained so much detail behind traditional Japanese cuisine, helped us make Tamago (egg omelette), gomaae (seaweed salad), miso soup, and of course the sushi... both nigiri and maki rolls. We learned so much, they took loads of photos and videos of us in action, and best of all we got a massive feast! I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tokyo, it's a great way to spend an afternoon after a morning at Senso-ji.

Leveling Up Your Culinary Game - I was blown away by how informative and fun this sushi making class was! The class was small with just me and my friend, which allowed us to feel like we had 2 hours with a chef where you can ask whatever questions you want. The instructor (Toshie) did a fantastic job with walking you through each step of the process by first showing you and then having you do it yourself. We made a wonderful side salad with sesame seed paste (made by hand), Tamago, Dashi, Miso Soup, sushi rice, and of course sushi (6 Nigiri, 1 Tomago, 1 flat face, and 6 rolls). Toshie even gave us each a recipe sheet to put in a laminate folder (provided) so we could take it home and continue making sushi. We even got a certificate showing that we completed the class and I'm hanging it on my wall. Hands down one of the best experiences I've had with a cooking class. P.S. If you're concerned about getting there, it's a bout a 10 minute walk from the Honjo-Azumabashi Station on the Asakusa Metro Line (Pink). It's Near the Tokyo Skytree too, so it's an easy option of doing both activities.

Knowledgeable, Professional, Organized, Well Prepared, Friendly, Fun - Our chef and her husband were very welcoming and professional. She gave us instructions to 4 dishes and it was very thoughough. We were able to write in a notes section provided if we needed clarification. The food was very filling, and I'd recommend not eating anything for the meal which you book this session for because you will need to be hungry. Everything tasted so very good. We obtained our certificate and passed sushi making class. Highly recommended going as a date or with friends.

Side dishes make this class stand out - This was a great class- cooking and art all in one! We chose this class because of the additional side dish preparation and it did not disappoint. The instructors were very knowledgeable and helpful. We received recipes to help us make the dishes at home and got some tips on what to look for if we purchase our own equipment.
