Better than we had even hoped - The experience was great all around. Not only did we learn a lot about Wagyu in particular we also got some great info about Japanese culture in general. The wagyu was also really good and it was great to learn about the different cuts and better understand why the beef is so much better than what we are used to in States. Mike was our "tour guide" through the world of wagyu and he was exceptional. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who likes a little bit of learning served up alongside some great conversation and food.

HIGHLY recommend - Was awesome. Chef Mike was knowledgeable, patient, conversational. Steak was delicious and presented in a variety of ways. The space was clean and perfect for the event. The time passed so quickly, wish we could have done it for 6 hours. Highly, HIGHLY recommend.

Great wagyu tasting course - Mike was a great host and chef for the experience. I ended up being the only one at my session because a previous group canceled, so it was a very relaxed tasting experience. It took place behind a coffee shop in a lovely room with a gas grill. We had around six different cuts, from the cheek thru ribeye. Mike was super friendly. He was very informative and explained a bit about the history of wagyu beef and the current state of the industry. He answered all kinds of questions about the beef and the cooking methods. He was also kind enough to offer some sake tasting as a bonus! I'd recommend it for anyone interested in sampling the different cuts of wagyu and getting some inside cooking tips and recommendations for things to do around Tokyo!
