• Surabaya - Begin your journey with a pick-up from the airport, hotel, or train station in Surabaya or Malang by our skilled local driver and tour guide at 11:30 PM. The estimated travel time to the Mount Bromo area is approximately 3 hours.
• Gunung Penanjakan - Embark on an exciting 4WD Jeep ride to Mount Penanjakan, the premier viewpoint for witnessing the sunrise. The temperature ranges from 7-10 degrees Celsius. For warmth, numerous street stalls offer noodles, corn on the cob, coffee, and tea. Extra jackets are available for rent at IDR 30,000 (US$ 1.85).

Typically, the sunrise occurs at 04:30 AM.

• Mount Bromo - The driver will drop you off 2 kilometers from the crater. Crossing the Sea of Sand takes about 45 minutes on foot (horse rides are available, rental fees not included). Then, ascend 250 steps to reach the rim of Bromo crater. Return to your jeep around 8-9 AM.
• Madakaripura Waterfall - Travel to Madakaripura Waterfall to marvel at the stunning natural scenery, approximately a 1-hour drive. This visit is optional, and you may skip it if desired. Please note that the entrance fee for Madakaripura Waterfall is not included. If you choose to visit, the additional cost is around IDR 250,000 per person, which includes the entrance fee, local guide, and a 5-minute motorbike ride. Be aware that the local guides at Madakaripura Waterfall are not part of our tour team. They are local residents who offer guiding services due to limited job opportunities, and the local authority enforces a queue system for guides. Therefore, the guide may not speak English, but they will accompany you throughout the waterfall visit.
• Surabaya - Drop-off at the airport, hotel, or train station in Surabaya or Malang is scheduled for 1:00 PM. If visiting the waterfall, the drop-off time will be between 3 to 4 PM.
