Tbilisi - Kutaisi - Martvili

Surami - At 09:00, the Driver-guide will meet guests in the reception area of the Tbilisi hotel to begin the journey towards western Georgia. As the drive progresses along the main highway, travelers will pass through numerous villages, mountains, and scenic viewpoints.

After approximately 2 hours, the journey reaches a quaint village named Surami.

When Surami is mentioned, Georgians often think of the sweet cinnamon bread, Nazuki, and the renowned fortress located there.

Nazuki bread is exclusively baked in this village, and a stop at one of the finest bakeries will be made to demonstrate the baking process, allowing guests to taste as much as they desire.

Kutaisi - Upon arrival in Kutaisi, a walking tour through the city’s historic streets and central squares will commence. Key landmarks such as the Colchis Fountain, the White Bridge, and the historic city market will be visited. Guests will have free time to explore, take photographs, and enjoy the relaxed ambiance of one of Georgia’s oldest cities.

Martvili Canyon - The tour continues to Martvili Canyon, celebrated for its stunning limestone gorge and emerald-green river. A short boat ride through the canyon (weather permitting) and a walk along well-maintained paths and bridges offer breathtaking views of waterfalls and rock formations. This area is perfect for light hiking, photography, and enjoying the fresh air in a tranquil natural setting.

Soviet Heritage and Natural Wonders

Tskaltubo - On the second morning, the tour visits the abandoned sanatoriums of Tskaltubo, once a favored Soviet-era spa destination.
