8-Day Camp — Check in Sunday, check out the following Sunday. Includes 6 x 2-hour lessons, 7 nights’ accommodation, daily breakfast buffet, dinner every night, 2 video analysis evenings, a cooking class, a theory evening, the Wednesday Surf Community Party, a movie night, sunset drinks at Jungle Beach, Game Night, a karaoke farewell night, and daily surfboard and beach transport.

Lessons run at 6:30 AM on Weligama Bay’s beginner-friendly beach break. Beginners enjoy a 2-hour lesson plus 2 hours of free supervised surfing, while advanced surfers get an extra early session plus a second afternoon session.

Surf & Stays is the only surf camp in Weligama with a full cultural and social programme built into every week — not just lessons and a bed.

Each week includes a Sri Lankan cooking class where guests prepare and enjoy their own authentic dinner, two video analysis sessions to review footage with an instructor and pinpoint exactly what to improve, a Wednesday Surf Community Party open to the whole Weligama surf scene, movie night with free popcorn, sunset drinks at Jungle Beach, and a karaoke farewell night.

The programme is structured by level — beginners and advanced run simultaneously so everyone is coached at the right pace. Two video analysis evenings allow guests to see their own progression from the first session to the last.

Most camps offer lessons and a bed. Surf & Stays offers a week to remember — better surfing, new friends, real Sri Lankan food, and evenings that make the whole trip.
