Tropic of Capricorn Sign - Travelers will embark from Swakopmund into the heart of the Namib Desert, traversing the stunning Gaub and Kuiseb Passes with photo opportunities at the Tropic of Capricorn and the renowned Solitaire settlement. They will spend the night near the Sossusvlei gate for convenient access to the dunes.
At sunrise, they will enter the Namib-Naukluft Park to explore Sossusvlei, Dead Vlei, Dune 45, Big Daddy (optional climb), and the Sesriem Canyon. Guests will enjoy guided insights into geology, wildlife, and desert history throughout the day, with ample scenery stops and time for photography. The final day offers a leisurely return drive to Swakopmund through the same mountain passes and desert landscapes.
Travelers will experience Namibia’s most iconic dunes, ancient canyons, salt-and-clay pans, desert wildlife, and breathtaking sunrise views—an immersive desert journey with knowledgeable local guides.

After an early breakfast, travelers set off for a full morning in the Sossusvlei area. They will visit and explore Dead Vlei, walk among the ancient camelthorn trees, and have the option to climb Big Daddy, one of the highest dunes in the world. Guests will stop at Dune 45 for photos and enjoy the dramatic sunrise light across the Namib Sand Sea.
In the afternoon, the tour continues to the Sesriem Canyon, where travelers can walk through the rock formations carved by the Tsauchab River and learn about the geology and history of this remarkable area.
Return to Swakopmund
Solitaire - After a well-deserved breakfast, the journey back to Swakopmund begins. Travelers will enjoy a relaxed drive with several scenic stops along the route, including a visit to the famous Pink Fridge, a quirky desert landmark popular for photographs. Additional viewpoints along the Gaub and Kuiseb Passes offer opportunities to capture the striking landscapes of the Namib before arriving back in Swakopmund in the afternoon.
