• Quseir Amra - After approximately an hour on the road, arrive at the UNESCO-listed “Quseir Amra,” one of east Jordan’s most renowned castles. Once an Umayyad hunting palace, this beautifully restored structure features 8th-century frescoes depicting lavish scenes of nude women, wine, and festivities.

• Qasr al-Kharrana - Proceed to “Qasr Al-Kharanah,” a majestic two-level fortress set in a vast plain. Believed to be built on Roman foundations, this intriguing castle showcases a rich blend of Mesopotamian, Arabic, and Greek architectural styles.

• Qsar Al-Azraq - Conclude your journey at “Qasr Al-Azraq,” initially an Umayyad hunting retreat and later used as a base by T.E.
