Due to the unpredictable nature of weather conditions, flexibility is key, and an alternative hike may be chosen, such as the panoramic Rigi Scheidegg trail, which features rolling hills, distant peaks, and potential wildlife sightings. The priority is always to select the best option for the day.

• Lake Lucerne - Following the hike, if the weather permits, there will be a visit to a unique swimming spot at the lake to relax for a few hours and possibly enjoy a swim. On days when the Göscheneralpsee hike is completed, the group will head to a swimming spot in Flüelen Gruonbach, while on days when the Rigi Scheidegg hike is chosen, a quaint beach in Vitznau will be visited. In case of bad weather, a stop at a bistro will be made.

On the way to the lake, a stop at a supermarket may be made if needed. At the lake, there is also the option to grill. Wood and other necessities are always available in the minivan. This plan ensures a delightful and adaptable outing regardless of the weather conditions.
