Underwhelming tour - We booked our tour for 5 pm. We were ahead of schedule so texted the operator if we could come an hour earlier only to then find out that there was no 5 pm tour. Apparently there would be no sun to see the caves, but why was that an option to book at that time if that was the case? We were never told that 5 pm was not possible nor that it was cancelled… no email, no text, nothing. We were just lucky to have contacted them ahead of time to see if we could move up our tour time; otherwise, we would have driven on curvy roads for 3.5 hours for nothing. The tour operator was kind enough to wait for us to arrive even though that made the other guests wait for us, which we really appreciated. I feel sorry for the other 5 pm tourists who had booked a tour then but didn’t contact them ahead of time. The sea caves themselves were underwhelming along with the narration of the buildings to/from the caves. There were only about four caves to see that our boat went in and turned around immediately as there was only the entrance that you could see from the boat. I expected much more and was disappointed overall. It wasn’t worth the long drive there. In addition, there was no statement made at the beginning of the tour that smoking and vaping weren’t allowed, so there were FIVE people vaping the whole time with the smoke blowing in our faces from the wind. This shouldn’t be allowed. It ruined the entire experience for those of us in the majority that don’t smoke for health reasons.
