Great tour and great driver/guide, Peter - My friend and I had Peter as our driver to visit these 3 towns. We enjoyed all of the towns very much not only because of the rich histories but also because of Peter. Before arriving in Sicily, we heard that people in Sicily don’t speak much English and we experienced that with our other tours. But with Peter, he was very kind and introduced us to the sites we visited. He didn’t rush us and we learned a lot about the sites we visited. He is knowledgeable and kind! I truly appreciate his service! Thank you, Peter!

A great tour to Siracusa, Ortiga and Noto with Peter - We had a fantastic tour with Peter to these three wonderful places. Peter was a great & safe driver and a made the trip very personal and rememberable. The pick up at our appartment in Catania was absolutely on time and we had enough time to visit the Archeological Parc of Neapolis, Ortigia and Noto. Peter made an introduction to these places and accompanied us at the walks through Ortigia and Noto. On the return way he made an extra stop at a beach to show us his preferred place. Overall we had a great time not only visiting great places, but also having wonderful talks through the day. Thank you Peter for that experience!

Don't miss out on this excursion! - Visiting Syracusa, Ortigia and Noto makes for a full and very interesting day. Our driver Peter was amazing, friendly, professional and caring. It is a highly recommended excursion!

Very well done! Professional and comfortable. - What a great day! We were picked up within a 2 minute walk in of our hotel by a friendly driver and travelled in a nice Mercedes van. Our driver gave us a little in for Marion about where we were and where we were going, and as well answered all of our questions. Note that your guide does not take you through the Syracuse archaeological park which we did self directed and was very easy to work out. I read up ahead so it was pretty self explanatory. We then went to Ortigio where we met our guide, toured through Ortigio and then had some time to wander around and go for lunch. Then it was off to Noto where we could walk with the guide or walk around self-directed. Noto is very compact (historic centre) and we walked on our own. After about 75 minutes we were satisfied. Our driver picked us up exactly where and when he said. It was then time for the drive back to Catania. Our driver gave some recommendations for restaurants to try. He then followed up with a message with the restaurant directions as well thanking us for booking. All and all it was a lovely day. Both our driver and guide were knowledgeable and courteous, and both spoke great English well. I would recommend it. It was a great trip!

Alessio was punctual in... - Alessio was punctual in picking us up near our hotel. We toured Syracuse, Ortigia, and the quaint city of Noto. We had plenty of time on our own to look around and shop. Highly recommend!

Great trip and great guide - Great flexibility when you are a party of eight. We got everything we needed from this trip. Carmelo was terrific

Driver not a tour - This was just a driver not a tour. I think we expected more. Driver just left us at Syracuse archaeological park without any explanation. Found Ortigia disappointing. Noto is really beautiful though.

Just ok - We did not have a tour guide in Syracusa. We were dropped off at the archeological park. It was very interesting. I wish we knew to get a headset when we bought our tickets. Thank goodness for AI. That was our tour guide. Next was Ortigia where we met another group and the tour guide. The tour guide was just ok. His back was mostly to the group. We tried to take turns walking next to him so we could hear something. We were disappointed. In all fairness, he stopped a few times and did talk to the group as a whole but not very informative. We did see historical and beautiful places. Next was Noto. Our driver Carmelo was great! He walked through the town , gave us some history, told us where to get the best Granita’. Then told us where to walk to with an hour of free time. He drove us back to our pick up point and guided us back to the highway. He was really great and very kind. Overall we were disappointed with the tour guide. We took many tours while we were in Sicily and this was everyone’s least favorite.

Not worth the money and time - I am glad some people seem to have had a positive experience. Unfortunately we did not. The ad presents as if you're going to have a guided experience with an expert. What we got was a driver who gave us misinformation and little else. The tour was so subpar that we decided to leave halfway through and take the train instead, which was a great improvement. You are just paying for a driver, which is not worth the substantial cost.. For significant fraction of the price, we recommend taking the train. Ortigia was beautiful and recommended.
