For novices, we initiate your training with a comprehensive two-hour session led by an instructor, who will introduce you to the basics of surfing, provide details about the surfboard, and educate you on wave dynamics prior to entering the water. The coach will also assist you in catching waves and offer support as you attempt to do so.
Surfing instruction spans two hours with a mentor, and we also grant you an additional hour to hone your abilities during a free practice period. The fee encompasses the surfboard lesson and wetsuit rental.

recommend this! - I had booked a private lesson and my instructor was great! I had already had 2 hours the day before at another surf school in Essaouria and have now learned a completely different technique for standing up. It felt like everything I learned in Essaouria was wrong. My instructor here always made me feel good, analyzed my mistakes and encouraged me!

Memorable surfing experience in Taghazout - Great experience for first time surfers! We had a group of 3 first time surfers and it was a very organized experienced to walk through the basics and get out on the waves! Our instructor was phenomenal and made sure that we had an amazing time surfing. I would highly recommend this team when surfing in Taghazout!

surfing in Taghazout - Taghazout Discovery organizes a surf lesson in or around the bay depending on the height of the waves and your level.
I came alone
in January and I came back in March with my son for a mini internship.

Unforgettable Surfing Experience at Taghazout Beach - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you're looking to catch your first wave, look no further than Taghazout Beach! As a complete beginner, I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to surfing. The star of the experience was our instructor Mohammed, whose patience and expertise made all the difference in my surfing journey.
Mohammed's teaching style was exceptional - breaking down the fundamentals of surfing into easy-to-follow steps. He started with the basics of board handling and gradually built our confidence until we were ready to tackle the waves. His encouraging nature and clear instructions helped me achieve what I thought was impossible - actually riding several waves during my first session!
The beach itself provides the perfect setting for beginners, with waves that are both exciting and manageable. The thrill of standing up on the board and riding my first wave is a moment I'll never forget, and it's all thanks to Mohammed's fantastic guidance.
Whether you're a complete novice or looking to improve your surfing skills, I highly recommend taking lessons here. This experience has not only taught me a new skill but has also given me a newfound appreciation for the sport. An absolute must-try activity when visiting Taghazout!
