A lovely experience - We had a lovely time, really enjoyed the venue. It was so relaxing away from the busy city and the sight of the Atlas Mountains in the distance on journey to the venue was beautiful. The vehicle laid on was very clean and the driver was very nice. The cooking was simple but authentic and tasty. All in all, we were very happy with the experience.

An unforgettable moment... - After half an hour’s drive in the middle of nowhere, the doors of the Berber garden opened and we were instantly transported to another world: a huge open-air garden, an oasis of greenery. The site, although able to accommodate up to 200 "apprentice cooks", offers a paradoxically almost intimate atmosphere, reinforced, it is true, by the fact that we were alone. The welcome, faithful to the Moroccan tradition, was particularly warm (tea ceremony, exchange with our trainers of the day, presentation of the course, etc...) The course, which took place in a very professional but absolutely relaxed atmosphere, surpassed our expectations. We cooked 3 tagines, 3 salads and 1 couscous, attended the traditional bread making and of course... tasted our achievements. These few hours in the Berber garden will remain without hesitation the best memory of our stay in Marrakech. Recommended without moderation. A huge thank you to the whole team of Chef Tarik, and especially to Malaco and Fatima, for their professionalism, their kindness, their communicative joie de vivre... a very nice meeting! It is now up to us to make your teaching live to bring joy to our guests.

What a memorable experience! Absolutely to do if you love the intellectual property of the countries visited! - An experience that leaves its mark. We had the opportunity to experience Moroccan culture firsthand. We booked the tour thinking it was in Italian, but unfortunately it was in English, a theme that subsists if you do not speak it, but considering the skill of the chef, I am convinced that you managed to communicate anyway. Asking me they told me that for larger groups they can organize the class with the Italian interpreter if requested. Arrived after half an hour from Marrakech to the structure, we were greeted by the screen in person who welcomed us and took us to the garden (through a corridor of curtains and flowers), where we tasted the tea and immediately after explained how it is made (process, timing and ingredients 🔝). Afterwards we went to the part of the cooking classes where we found a table with all the spices with chef aprons and hair (much to the delight of my son). Started cooking, the chef explained step by step the dosage of spices, foods, meats, the reasons why these things are done that way, in a super kind and exhaustive way he managed to fully involve the 7-year-old who did not speak English. So it was that between laughter, dancing, music, spices, colors and lots of good humor we cooked 1 chicken tajin, 1 vegetable and 1 meat + 1 zucchini salad, 1 tomato and peppers and one carrot salad (hint: the chef recommends the original recipes as it should be, if however you are not fond of garlic (very strong) or cumin, remember not to use them). After the preparation of the dishes, we left everything to bake and moved to another point to witness the making and baking of the bread. We weren't supposed to do it, but they still let my son in. Berber baked bread made, we moved to a heavenly garden. I spontaneously took off my shoes and walked barefoot on that perfectly manicured lawn where, in the middle, a table with a series of tastings of their products (Moroccan peanut butter, olive oil, tomatoes seasoned with spices, olives, cheese, honey and bread) awaited us. We really enjoyed the moment. As soon as we finished, we moved to the table that we found used with everything we cooked (a show). We ate (too much) and in the end we were served deșert and oregano tea. What about it?! A unique and exclusive experience. The enthusiasm of all the people who were there, the sincere smiles, the kindness, made us fill up on the best part of Moroccan culture: the food 🥰 Buy their recipe book, it’s for a good cause and let go to satisfy every sense with this wonderful experience! 🥰

A fabulous experience - This was a really fun experience with delicious food. We all had a fantastic time. I bought the cookbook but am disappointed that there is no recipe for your amazing Harissa. Would you mind sharing it with us? Jamie was our tour leader if you want to send it to her. Thank you!! We are all dying to make harissa!

Excellent experience! Stop researching, choose this class! - Loved this class! Seamless pick up, spectacular class. The best and most wide-ranged menu I saw in the area, plus really top quality ingredients. Everything organic. Chef Siham was so wonderful and event talked us through how to make some other dishes we enjoyed in Morocco. Also, leftover food is donated to nearby villages and this farm is employing locals to help with the baking and pastries. LOVE their work and mission.
