• Emerald Bay State Park - A small sheltered section on the west shore, the Emerald Bay State Park is one of the loveliest areas of Lake Tahoe. Emerald Bay is surrounded by forested hillsides of glacier-carved granite and dotted with a tiny islet at its center. Because the bay is slightly shallower than the rest of Lake Tahoe, the waters take on a striking blue-green color. Along the rugged shoreline of Emerald Bay are serene hiking trails with breathtaking panoramic vistas.
• Vikingsholm - Vikingsholm - On the shores of Emerald Bay is a surprising landmark, Vikingsholm Castle, a marvelous example of 9th-century Scandinavian architecture. There will be time to get off the boat and tour the grounds.
• Tahoe City - South/North Trailheads - Tahoe City is perched on the shore of Lake Tahoe at the headwaters of the Truckee River (Lake Tahoe’s only outlet). A mélange of playful year ‘round activities awaits every visitor. Tahoe City activities revolve around snow and everything one can do in, on or around it. • Kings Beach State Recreation Area - Lake Tahoe named Kings Beach after card shark Joe King, who won the town site from George Whittell nearly a century before poker had a cult cable-TV following. Kings Beach is kick back, in fact, this stretch of North Lake Tahoe wrote the book on mellow kick back.

Kings Beach stands in the sun’s path from early morning into the p.m., with a signature downtown public beach plus hip shops, restaurants, and side-street vendors. Hwy. 267 spills into Hwy. 28 here, too, presenting skiers/boarders insta-options to the North Shore’s Big 12 Lake Tahoe ski resorts.

• Sand Harbor - Secret Cove is one of a series of beaches located along the remote east shore of Lake Tahoe. Also to be found in the vicinity are Sand Harbor, Chimney Beach, Boaters Beach, Creek Beach and Whale Beach. Each location is different and offers something unique depending on what you wish to have for a day on the beach
• Round Hill Pines Beach and Marina - Enjoy lunch at the famous Tiki Bar and dine right on the beach!
