• 2450 River Rd - Embark on a half-day guided snowshoeing adventure through the Lake Tahoe National Forest. This winter snowshoe hike takes participants on a homemade, secluded trail through the forest. The path ascends 800 feet up the mountain to reach a favorite viewpoint, Pauly’s Point, which offers stunning views of the renowned ski resorts, Alpine Meadows and Palisades Tahoe. Reaching the Palisades Tahoe overlook is a notable achievement, typically requiring 1 to 1.5 hours of hiking through the Sierra Nevada Mountain landscape. At the summit, the Snowshoe Tahoe guide will provide a selection of snacks. Participants can enjoy snacks, capture photos, and engage in conversations about the area’s history and surroundings while taking in the breathtaking views of Palisades Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada. The snowshoeing journey continues through high snowy alpine meadows as the group descends the mountain, completing a loop to the finish.
