Mount Tai - The driver will transport you from your hotel in Zhengzhou to the Train Station. Board the morning train to Tai’an, which takes approximately 3.5 hours. Upon arrival, meet your welcoming local tour guide and proceed directly to Mount Tai.
Travel to the Taishan Tourist Center and take the shuttle bus to the Mid-Heaven Gate (Zhongtianmen), a journey of about 30 minutes. Then, enjoy a panoramic cable-car ride to the South Heaven Gate (Nantianmen), offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks.
With your tour guide, explore the Jade Emperor Peak. Appreciate the stone tablets and inscriptions in the area. Visit the Jade Emperor Temple, built in honor of the Jade Emperor of Taoism. Discover the Bixia Temple, constructed in 1008 during the Song Dynasty. It is a masterpiece of Taoist architecture, showcasing the advanced construction techniques of ancient Chinese architecture. Travel to Tai’an Railway Station and take a 20-minute bullet train ride to Qufu Train Station. You will be transferred back to your hotel in Qufu, which you should book in advance.

The Temple of Confucius was first built in 478 BC to honor Confucius. The temple follows the design specifications of imperial palaces. Former Residence of Confucius in Qufu - Next, visit the Kong Family Mansion. The descendants of Confucius lived here and were responsible for conducting elaborate religious ceremonies for events such as plantings, harvests, honoring the deceased, and birthdays.
Confucius’ Parents’ Cemetery - Enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant, then explore the Confucian Cemetery in the afternoon. The Confucian Cemetery has served as the family graveyard for Confucius and his descendants for over two thousand years. Approximately 3,600 tombstones from the Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties still stand in the cemetery.
After the tour, your guide will take you to Qufu Railway Station for your train back to Zhengzhou (approximately 3 hours). Upon arrival, your driver will pick you up at Zhengzhou Railway Station and transfer you back to your hotel in Zhengzhou City. Alternatively, you can choose to conclude your tour in Qufu.
