Mombasa-Ngutuni Sanctuary

Ngutuni Wildlife Conservancy - Begin your journey from Mombasa at 06:00, heading towards Ngutuni Wildlife Sanctuary. Arrive at approximately 10:30 and embark on a sanctuary safari before enjoying lunch. Ngutuni is a 10,000-acre private game sanctuary nestled between Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks. Visitors can witness the Ngutuni water hole, which draws a large number of wild animals such as lions, herds of buffalo, elephants, zebras, and giraffes, among others. After lunch, continue with an afternoon sanctuary game drive, offering opportunities to see waterbucks, warthogs, ostriches, and dik-diks.

Ngutuni Lodge - The Ngutuni Hills, located behind Ngutuni Lodge, offer stunning scenery that is clearly visible during the game drive. The Ngutuni water hole is a popular spot for wildlife, including lions, majestic red elephants, and zebras.

Tsavo East National Park

Tsavo National Park East - Enjoy a full breakfast at 07:30, then, with picnic lunch boxes in hand, set off for a full-day game drive in Tsavo East National Park. Explore the expansive savannah from one end of the park to the other, visiting the renowned Lugard Falls. Enjoy your picnic lunch at the site, with opportunities to see crocodiles and hippos. Continue the game drive with chances to spot banded mongoose, white-tailed mongoose, vervet monkeys, yellow baboons, side-striped jackals, silver-backed jackals, Grant’s gazelles, hyenas, warthogs, dik-diks, impalas, waterbucks, oryx, and elands. Return to the lodge around 17:00 for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lugard’s Falls - A visit to Lugard’s Falls in Tsavo East is unforgettable. It offers close encounters with crocodiles and hippos, and the site’s unique beauty is highlighted by rocks with striking pink, light grey, and white stripes.

Ngutuni Wildlife Sanctuary - Mombasa

Ngutuni Lodge - Start with an early morning game drive from 06:30 to 08:30 at the sanctuary, then return to the lodge for a full breakfast. Enjoy another game drive in the sanctuary before returning to the lodge for lunch and check-out. Depart for Mombasa with a game drive en route to the park exit. Arrive in the late afternoon and be dropped off at your booked hotel.

A DREAM THAT CAME TRUE - We just returned from an incredible 3-day à la carte safari, a family of four booked through Frenzy Adventures. Our adventure took us through Tsavo East and Tsavo West, and every moment was truly unforgettable. During our stay at Voi Safari Lodge in Tsavo East, we were stunned by the breathtaking view from the lodge and delighted by the abundant wildlife—large herds of elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes, zebras, hyenas and we were lucky to see lions. In Tsavo West, we were fortunate to see many giraffes and gazelles, and we even had the incredible luck of spotting a leopard, which was a real highlight. Our driver guide, Amin, was highly skilled and knowledgeable about wildlife, birdlife, and local culture. One of the most memorable moments was visiting a Maasai village on the last day, where we immersed ourselves in their vibrant culture, participated in the traditional Maasai jump, and gained a deeper appreciation for their rich heritage. This trip offered a perfect blend of adventure, culture, and family bonding—an experience we will cherish forever.
