Great Asakusa intro - Kaz was a great guide! We saw a lot in two hours. The information about visiting shrines and temples was particularly helpful.

Celebrating New Year in Japan - Machi was a thoughtful and attentive tour guide who shared Asakusa and Kappa Bashi with pride and care. Really insightful and we enjoyed the tour very much!!! Maraming salamat!! :)

Sights and snacks! - I have to start off by saying I booked the tour within just a couple hours of going on it. I found out later that I was the only one on the tour and the guide still showed up so I was very appreciative of that since I’ve had others tours that have cancelled because of too few people. The guide was on time and the directions to the meeting place were spot on. I’m so sorry I don’t remember the guide’s name but he was very friendly, knowledgeable, and his English was very easy to understand.
The sightseeing spots by the temple were all fun and picturesque. The food was all very tasty and a slightly different assortment from the typical touristy Japanese snacks so that was refreshing. I was decently full after the snack stops so it was a perfect size for a light lunch. Watch out if you get the takoyaki senbei, mine was really (temperature) hot which is not a bad thing but be careful :)
We walked down the Kappabashi Street after the snacks and got to see a lot of really cool knife and kitchenware shops. Normally the tour would have ended at the train station close by but the guide was nice enough to walk me back to the temple so I could get a stamp for my book since the line was very long when we were there earlier. I really appreciated every bit of this tour and how accommodating they were. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to spend a couple hours in Asakusa and get a couple bites in without getting as full as you would on a traditional food tour.

Great tour - lots of information - We had a great experience! Our tour guide told us interesting history on the temple and other areas we explored. We enjoyed the market and had several great foods. He was friendly and very helpful. We really enjoyed our time with him. We learned a lot about Tokyo!

Great tour of Shrine and shops - Our tour guide was fantastic and very caring. We ran into an older man who had fallen down and our guide immediately ran over to help him up. Great tour.

3 S’s, shrine, shopping, and snacks - Traveled with my husband and 2 sons (20 and 11). We enjoyed learning about the temple. There were many things we wouldn’t have otherwise known if we had ventured alone. We went on a bit of a shopping excursion, down one of the well traversed streets. Although we were far more interested in shrines and temples it was a nice walk. We followed that up eating a trio of foods authentic to Japan. If you have a picky palate, that’s where it got tricky. 1/2 of us, myself and 11 year old, didn’t confidently eat any of the items. I’m sure if we had been more upfront about our pickiness, this would have been avoided as our guide was incredibly accommodating. We on the other hand were still in cultural surprise, and adjusting to the 14 hour time difference. Thank you for offering this wonderful experience. I would recommend! And discuss with your guide if something is more important to you than other things. He was also great about giving suggestions to us when our tour was complete and we planned to further navigate the area.

This was an excellent... - This was an excellent tour and Sowa. our tour guide, did a fantastic job showing us around, including some areas we would not have known when searching online. Sowa is friendly and answered all our questions about the area, history and food. I highly recommend this tour.

Great private tour - We had a great private tour. Super informative, we wouldn’t have been able to do the temple and prayers without a guide. We then got to see the kitchen shopping street which was fantastic.
