Kid’s favorite experience! ❤️ - We had the most wonderful time cooking with Jasmine!! My 8 year-old told me this was the most fun he has had so far in Japan (we have done Disney, TeamLab Planets, Mt. Fuji, ninja etc) and he wanted to take another class as soon as we were done! Thank you so much, Jasmine. Our family will never forget this time.

Cooking class with Sake - yum!! - Great experience with a local guide. Our guide Minnie took us shopping at the local market to find local ingredients for our meal. She involved us and allowed us to ask questions about Japanese Culture and made it the most enjoyable tour of our holiday. Minnie made our trip. We highly recommend the tour. The food and Sake was plentiful !!

Lovely evening trying different Japanese dishes - We had really enjoyable evening at the cooking experience with Minnie. We first went to the supermarket and picked out some of our ingredients. This was a nice way to ask some questions about the different foods and how they are cooked - especially as a lot of the ingredients we had never seen before. We then went to the kitchen and prepared a lovely selection of dishes which we can recreate back at home. Minnie was a brilliant host and was happy to answer any questions that we had. She was friendly and approachable and it is clear that she enjoys cooking. The only area that I think could be improved would be around the sake pairing. It would be good to talk a bit more about the sake, for example, how it is made, the different types and pair it to the food that we are eating that evening. We also received 5 cans of alcoholic drink each which although was nice, was probably a little excessive for the evening. Overall, we really enjoyed this experience and even stopped by the supermarket on the way home to pick up a few key ingredients to make the dishes back at home!

A fun time! - Really pleasant experience with lots of food and plenty of sake. A nice intro to Japanese izakaya style home cooking and a nice way to get to know a local. Wishing for more explanation behind things instead of just going through motions.
