It was our first day in... - It was our first day in Tokyo, I guessed it would be a great way to get familiarized with the city. It was. Nothing beats a local expert. Our driver/guide, Zeeshan, was excellent. He is very familiar with the city, was personable and engaging - bonus was that he drove like a professional (not a NyC cabbies).

Day trip to tokyo - We had several restrictions that our driver had to work around and he did a great job doing it. We were able to visit many of the sites we wanted even though we only had a total of 5 hours. Great trip! I would recommend

5-Star - Tokyo Private Driving Tour - We had a great time on our private driving tour of Tokyo with Rabu (Rabs) as our English-speaking guide and driver. He made every effort to ensure we got the most out of our half day tour. He thoughtfully planned the route to include as many highlights as possible wirh our time window. We really appreciated his flexibility and effort. Highly recommended this tour. -Gia & Family.

Tokyo in a day - I recommend this tour to anyone that wants to see Tokyo and the best highlights in one day. Our driver Umer Alam was very patient and showed us the best of Tokyo. I was here with my granddaughters and they enjoyed all the highlights like sky tree and Gundam and Shibuya. Period definitely Umer is to be commended.

Great day out tailed to our own itinerary - This was a great experience all round. It was a rainy day and trying to get to all the sights in one day on our own, would have been impossible. Our driver Bek was so friendly and accommodating. He changed the itinerary accordingly to what we wanted to see. My 15 yr old daughter wanted to go to the Samurai & Ninja museum as well as an animal cafe. Break made it all happen. I would highly recommend this day tour. It was a very comfortable van and we were driven where and when we wanted to go.

Would not hesitate to book again! - For us, this was a great way to optimize our day in the city. All we had to do was get in and ride. Our driver took care of navigating traffic, finding our pick up spots, sharing important information and staying in touch for our pick ups. The Tokyo train system is amazing but it can eat up time if you are limited. Having our own driver also allowed us to pace the day on our schedule and leave things in the car that we didn't need or purchased along the way. The 10 hours went by so fast. Our driver was courteous, had excellent English, knew the area and was safe and responsible. The van was so nice and comfortable, better than first class. This is the way to go if you want to be on your own schedule, save time and need to limit walking if you have elderly or mobility issues.

Book With This Company! - This is the main point of the detailed experience we had from booking through our first stop on the day of our tour. If you are looking for a tour that will listen to your needs and wishes, a highly knowledgeable guide who can quickly factor in the weather, terrain, and all this beautiful city has to see and experience, book this tour, through this company, and ask for Jiro! If you want to know some of the detailed reasons for my recommendation, you’re welcome to continue reading. This tour of Tokyo and Jiro’s EXCEPTIONAL service is exactly what we needed! I was traveling with my 82 y/o mom, who is in a manual wheelchair that someone needs to push, and my 45 y/o sister who has anxiety and this was her first international trip. Needless to say, stress levels were high and we only had a short time to experience Tokyo on a stopover. When I booked the tour, it was easy to organize for pick up outside Tokyo’s 23 Wards. Viator let me know that the additional fee would be 5,000 JPY, in cash paid to the driver upon pick up, which I had ready immediately and it was appreciated. (We were staying at Tokyo Disneyland). When our driver, Jiro, picked us up, he was very attentive to helping my mom, and making sure we customized this tour for our interests and our needs. He patiently listened as I explained our priority was to give my mom a nice day in Tokyo. We wanted to visit a shrine or temple, gardens/park, and Skytree. I also let him know that often times my mom is happy to see things from the passenger seat to relieve the stress of transferring from the car to her wheelchair and back repeatedly. Mom also said she wanted to shop for a souvenir for her great grandchildren back home. On top of all that, Typhoon Nari was passing east of Tokyo. Jiro had his work cut out for him and rose to the challenge like a champion! Jiro immediately showed he processed the information he had just been given and explained the two religious sites most people want to see are Senso-Ji Temple and Meiji Jinju Shrine. He explained that Senso-ji Temple was fully accessible and, if it was ok with us, he would like to go in with us to make sure we were able to find the small elevator. My response, “Please do, thank you!” One less think I needed to figure out myself! =) He explained it was quite touristy, and there would be a lot of traditional shopping from the car to the temple. With that, we started on our way. Jiro was conversational and definitely fluent in English. On the way to the temple, he explained the history of the site we were going to see and noteworthy information about places we passed. Jiro drove safely and found the best route to navigate through morning traffic. We arrived at the temple, and Jiro offered to help push my mom in her wheelchair. As I was thanking him for offering the help and about to decline, my mom shocked my sister and I by accepting the help. Let me tell you, she NEVER does that! Later she shared that she felt comfortable and was trusting of him. Another first in such a short time. We made our way to the temple where Jiro explained the traditions and monuments. Jiro was a wealth of information! I appreciated that he would honestly admit if he was unsure of an answer to a random question. My mom was able to get to the main level of the shrine and enjoy the artistry and monks, who were chanting. Walking back to the car, Jiro pointed out shops that had items my mom would like to see based on her input from our conversation in the car. We were very happy with the experience. As we were about to catch the elevator down to the car, my mom saw a 7-Eleven and wanted to see what all the hype was about. Jiro was happy to indulge her and us. He even went and asked a staff member for help when we had questions about the snacks he was unfamiliar with. We decided to skip visiting Skytree due to clouds covering the top, but Jiro made sure we were able to get pictures. We drove through Shibuya, but didn’t get out. My mom had zero desire to be in that crowd, but thoroughly enjoyed seeing it from the passenger seat. We saw the Imperial Palace and gardens. He showed my mom where the Meiji Jingu Shine was and parked, while we discussed the terrain and gravel walkways. Ultimately, my mom decided to skip it due to how bumpy and difficult that would be in her wheelchair. For lunch, Jiro asked if we had any idea of what we wanted to eat or where. I asked him to please make a recommendation. He suggested a mall with a floor of restaurants and a food court, all wheelchair accessible. Perfect! We got there, he parked close to where we needed to be, knew exactly where every elevator was, and we had a delicious ramen lunch. My mom was able to finish up her shopping also! I could go on and on, but I’m going to cut this short. I know what I explained isn’t most tourists’ perfect day in Japan. Nobody’s needs and interests are the same. If you’re looking for a private tour, it’s because you want to be able to make the day perfect for you. This tour is what you’re looking for! Communication is the key. Just let them know what you want, and they will make it happen with their knowledgeable and caring team! Thank you, Jiro, from the bottom of our hearts, for a perfect day in Tokyo!

Fantastic day in Tokyo! - This was a fantastic day visiting major Tokyo highlights. Zoma was our private driver and he made it so incredibly fun and was super flexible with the schedule. Trying to please everyone in the family was not easy and Zoma really nailed it. We visited some Tokyo classics like the Sensoji temple in Asakusa, the Imperial Palace and the Meiji Jingu Shrine. We visited Shibuya for the famous crossing but allowed some time to do some shopping at the famous Pokemon and Nintendo stores at Parcco. My oldest son wanted to go to a Kabuki Theater function so Zoma drove us to Ginza where the theater is located. While he was enjoying the show Zoma took the rest of us to the Sky Tree. He even recommended one of the best tempura restaurants I have ever been to! Communicating and coordinating with him through whatsapp was so easy. Really thankful for the great service and the amazing experience!

Private Driver but not a tour guide - This was great as a private driver for pickup from the cruise port, but the "tour guide" part was not really a tour. Zeb was fine as a driver but I would not recommend this tour unless you have done your research and can direct the driver on where to go. Luckily I knew the places we wanted to visit so it worked out.
