  After a brief drive, the snowshoeing adventure begins through a serene winter forest. At a secluded waterfall deep in the woods, participants can enjoy hand-drip coffee and lunch amidst nature.

Once the hike is finished, everyone returns to ONDO to unwind and warm up after the snowshoeing adventure.

Discover the tranquil charm of Hida’s winter scenery on this engaging snowshoe adventure in the Takayama mountains. Led by certified professionals from the Japan Mountain Guides Association, participants will journey through peaceful, snow-laden forests to a picturesque waterfall nestled in the heart of nature.

At the waterfall’s base, the guide, who is also a skilled barista, will prepare hand-brewed specialty coffee using pristine mountain spring water, providing a cozy and contemplative moment amidst the winter stillness. A light meal, including homemade soup and sandwiches crafted with local ingredients, is also part of the experience.
