Hida craftsmen used the best materials available at the time in the best possible form to create beautiful machiya architecture. Even after more than 200 years, the machiya is not only beautiful, but also sturdy and convenient. We hope to introduce this traditional Japanese machiya house, which is still intact, to you and invite you to enjoy a cup of tea and reminisce about life in the olden days.
