Wonderful experiences - This was a great trip. Our tour guide Jokey was amazing! We forgot a souvenir in the bus and he made sure we received it in our hotel. We would totally recommend this trip.

Good Tour - The best part of the tour was the floating market by the time we got to the temples, I was hot and tired. The guide was very knowledgeable. I would recommend taking the tour.

Our tour guide, Bobo, was... - Our tour guide, Bobo, was fantastic. I learned about the history of Thailand and he kept the tour running smoothly. Our bus driver also did a great job getting us to all of our points safely. I enjoyed seeing all of the sights and learning about this fantastic country.

Tour Guide - Great tour with William! He knows his history and also knows how to entertain the group. He sang for us at some point during our long drive to Ayutthaya. The train market, the floating market and Ayutthaya were all great destinations. We had a great time!

Great tour, very complete, but you see 3 temples not 4 in Ayutthaya - This is a very complete tour and very long day (we were picked up at 06:00 a.m. and returned at MBK Center at 07:05 p.m.). Our guide William gave us a lot of information and our driver, Mr. Thai, drove very safely. We have bad luck, as the highway was flooded due to heavy rain during the night, and it took us nearly 4 hours to arrive to the railway Mae Klong market, so we arrive at 09:45 a.m. and both trains at 08:30 a.m. and 09:00 a.m. were already gone, and there was no time to wait for the next one, at 11:10 a.m. We stayed there until 10:15 a.m. and went to the Orchid Farm (this is a turist trap that should be avoided) and, then, we went to the floating market (from 10:50 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.), including a half an hour ride on a boat. We had lunch from 02:20 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and, then, went to visit 3 Ayutthaya temples. One thing we did not like is that in the Viator description says that you see 4 temples at Ayutthaya, but you see only 3: Wat Maha That (from 3:05 p.m. to 04:00 p.m.), Wat Phra Sri Sanphet (from 04:10 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) and Wat Lakayasutharam (from 05:10 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.), but you do not see the Wat Chaiwatthanaram temple.

Wouldn't choose this trip again - We chose this trip because of the limited amount of time and the opportunity to visit both Ayutthaya and a floating market. Although it is a 12 h day trip, we actually didn't see that much because of the long distances and travel time between visiting sites, with 170 km between the floating market and Ayutthaya.
The train/ umbrella market is nice and has really good prices for souvenirs, but the floating market is really touristy, I'm not sure if there would be a market day if it would make any difference. If you've taken any other boat trip in any Asian countries, it's the same, not worth the hype at all.
Also, our tour guide didn't provide interesting historical information about Ayutthaya, the information was bland and limited to some architectural topics and limited religious facts. Moreover, when asked questions he was snarky and unaccommodating, not a very good attitude for a guide.
I think that a half-day tour from Bangkok to Ayutthaya would have been more than enough and a lot less tiring.
