Agadir to Tazenakht & Ouarzazate

Taliouine - Following breakfast, the journey proceeds through the breathtaking landscape towards Ait Benhaddou. The six-hour trip will include a stop in Taliouine, situated in the heart of saffron country.

Tazenakht - The journey continues to Tazenakht, a region renowned globally for its exquisite carpet weaving. Lunch will be enjoyed with a Berber family, providing an opportunity to learn about their culture and lifestyle in an intimate group setting.

Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - In the afternoon, a visit to the clay settlement of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou is planned. This site is one of the country’s most stunning fortifications, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a backdrop for numerous historical films.

Draa-Tafilalet - The journey then advances to Ouarzazate, with arrival at the accommodation near Ouarzazate expected in the early evening.

Ouarzazate to Tinghir & Merzouga

Tinghir - The day begins early with a bus ride along the road of the 1000 Kasbahs to the oasis town of Tinghir. A 30-minute walk leads to the dramatic rocky edges of the Todra Gorge. An hour later, the town of El Khorbat is reached, where the Berber Museum is visited.

Merzouga Desert - Post-lunch, the journey continues to Merzouga. Overnight accommodation is provided in permanent tents in the Sahara, offering a unique experience. The evening includes a camel ride through the stunning dune landscape of the Erg Chebbi, with a shared sunset view from the dunes. Dinner and a campfire await back at the tent.

Merzouga to Rissani & Agdz & Tiouat

Rissani - After breakfast, the bus heads to Tiouat, with a stop in Rissani after 45 minutes. A discovery tour of the souks is planned, where locals gather from near and far for shopping.

Agdz - The journey continues through the stone desert to Agdz, where a lunch break is taken.

Tiout - The trip proceeds to the village of Tiouat, known for its historic kasbah, now a hotel and tourist attraction. The kasbah, located on a hill, offers panoramic views of the village and its lush surroundings.

Tiouat to Taroudant & Return

Taroudant - A village walk, mule ride, and tour of Taroudant are planned. After breakfast, the village of Tiout is explored, and its friendly and genuine people are met. Post-lunch, the journey continues to “Little Marrakesh” (Taroudant), a city encircled by a magnificent eight-meter-high wall from the 16th century. The city and its vibrant medina with lively souks are explored. The day concludes with a return to the city of Agadir.
