Tallinn: Well worth the trip - It’s a 3-hour guided walking tour. And another 3 hours on your own to explore. Our guide was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about the country’s history. She also gave us excellent restaurant recommendations and shopping suggestions. It was a long day, but it was also a lovely experience.

Tallinn via the tourist shops - The guide provided an introduction to the city's history and significance buildings. It was a pity we had to be paraded through so many tourist shops along the way. The ferry bookings included with the tour were too far apart. We paid to return on an earlier one rather that get back to Helsinki by 2030.

Long day with nothing to do. - She had equipment that did not work, so could not hear what she was saying only half had working equipment. At the end of tour we had time in the old city for 4 hours to walk around. It was two much time, the shops all had the same things. You had time for lunch maybe 1 hr and to look around the shops 1 hr, 2 hrs of nothing to do. It was very cold when there so it was uncomfortable. The cruise ship on return took 2 1/2 hrs, so returned at 9pm.

Avoid this company - I have booked this tour through GetYourGuide and followed the instructions to be at the Ferry Terminal 1 hour before departure. I couldn't find anyone from Discover Estonia and when I approached Check In desk there was no information or booking placed under my name. I have paid GetYourGuide in full few days beforehand and it already was a red flag that nobody from Discover Estonia contacted me. Calling the number provided, I was not surprised that nobody was picking up the phone. GetYourGuide could also not get hold of them and their only suggestion was to buy my own Ferry ticket (after paying 130 EUR in advance already). Just FYI return ferry ticket from Helsinki to Talinn is 27 eur and you can definitely do this tour yourselves and saving little over 100 EUR.
