Beautiful views - The trip to Tamanique was great. Such a beautiful part of El Salvador that we hadn't seen yet. The waterfalls were amazing and the beach was a great place to relax after the hike. Our tour guide, Diego, was very helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this tour!

El Tunque Beach - Diego greeted me with a smile on his face immediately upon introduction. His zest for life and nature showed through the fabric of his soul. On our way to el tunco he took us to a hole in the wall restaurant where he frequents. He made a recommendation and it blew my socks off. He continued to have a smile throughout the day which showed that he enjoys his career and the people that he brings along. Definitely a must see. Ask for Diego!

Stunning Views and A Great Time!! - The waterfalls were beautiful!! The hike was physically demanding (make sure to bring good shoes), but that made swimming in the waterfall all the more refreshing. Stunning views the whole time. Then after, visiting El Tunco was lovely. Our guide Diego was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and organized. It was a small group of us and it was nice talking to everyone. You will not regret going on this tour!!

Waterfalls and beach day with Diego. - We had an unforgettable day exploring waterfalls and Tunco Beach in El Salvador with Diego as our guide. The waterfall hike was absolutely stunning—lush, scenic, and full of natural beauty—but be prepared, it’s no walk in the park! It’s labeled as intermediate, but I’d say it leans toward challenging, especially if you’re pushing yourself like we did. My friend and I are both in semi-good shape and were determined to beat our local guide’s hiking time (spoiler: it wasn’t easy!). We made it down in 25 minutes and climbed back up in 35 (it can take up to 1.5 hours if you take your time) and every step was worth it for the chance to swim under the falls. What really made the experience exceptional, though, was Diego. He shared fascinating historical facts about El Salvador and gave us great insights into the places we visited. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a fun, safe, and memorable time. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and cares deeply about the people he’s guiding. Diego is a truly special person with a big heart—we feel lucky to have spent the day with him. Highly recommend this experience if you’re up for an adventure and want to learn more about the beauty and culture of El Salvador!

GREAT - had the most amazing experience hiking to the waterfalls with Diego! From start to finish, he was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the area. He shared so much interesting information along the way and made the hike not only fun but also really educational. Diego went above and beyond to make sure everyone felt safe and comfortable throughout the entire adventure. I would recommend him a million times over—if you’re looking for a guide who truly cares and delivers an unforgettable experience, Diego is the one!

Awesome tour to the Falls and Beach with a super fun guide and two other awesome couples - Diego picked me up on time and we headed to Tunco and picked up 2 other couples…headed to the falls . we all had such a fun time together. Diego was a lot of fun and he provided us with lots of history and stories as we adventured around. I struggled with the climb up having to stop and rest at least 5 or 6 times. Diego and our other local guide (Billy maybe) were in front and back of me in case I had an issue with anything, which was greatly appreciated. We made it up then walked around and had lunch on the water. An awesome afternoon, I highly recommend this tour.. ask for Diego!! Extra stuff people like to know…Safety 10/10. Transport new, clean. 10/10 Guide (Diego) 10/10. His English 10/10. Billy (I hope that is his name) 10/10. Tour operator 10/10 easy and prompt communications

Not worth the money - Tbh the guides were nice but seemed like they just wanted the day to be over. Tried skipping waterfalls and rushed through the day. I ended up just leaving at el Tunco.
