- Tamarin Bay Surfschool Mauritius - Our company takes you on an unprecedented morning quest: the observation of dolphins in their natural habitat, the Tamarin Bay. The morning offers perfect conditions for having the chance to observe the two fabulous marine mammals: the spinner dolphin (Stenella longirostris) and the bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus), which often take refuge in the bay at night in order to mate and feed. Embark with your guide on the kayaks to discover in a responsible and respectful way the dolphins of Mauritius.
This 2-hour adventure is open to everyone and does not require any previous experience with kayaks.
It is important to note that we cannot guarantee with certainty the presence of dolphins. These are sometimes off the coast, inaccessible by kayak. An alternative route will then be proposed to discover the Tamarind River and its wildlife.

The best way to see dolphins - We booked 2 tours with Yanature during our family holiday to Mauritius. Both were excellent and I would highly recommend the company as reliable and professional.
Matt was our guide for the dolphin kayak and the boys whole experience was exceptional. We saw hundreds of spinner dolphins swimming along the kayaks and jumping/spinning. It was a once in a lifetime experience and felt like a non-intrusive way to see these amazing animals in their natural habitat.
Special thanks to Matt for his thoughtful instructions to a middle aged mum who hasn't held a paddle for a long time.
I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Great ride! - We went out to see the dolphins, accompanied by Gilles and Lali.
We had a great time. When the dolphins moved away, Gilles and Lali proposed we continue the Kayak trip on the Tamarin River.
Gilles even allowed my companion to test his padle!
Thank you for your kindness and this moment that will be remembered for a long time!

Eco friendly dolphin watching with expert guide. - It was an early start at 6.20am, but it was worth it. What a way to experience dolphins in the wild without impacting their natural habitat.
Our guide Theo was such a credit to have and his knowledgable about local wildlife and the area was first class.
The combination of the location, the eco friendly approach to dolphin watching and a fantastic guide made the whole experience one to remember.

Fantastic kayak tour - We did the kayak tour and it was great! Well guided by Yudish and Gilles, who were very enthusiastic. We were surrounded by a large group of dolphins and that was so special. Also nice that they do this tour in a respectful way, at an appropriate distance we were able to admire the dolphins.

Great Kayak Tour with Dolphins! - Great tour! Early in the morning we started and after a short time we saw dolphins. Kayaking was a very special experience as the dolphins swam right around our group. The group was very pleasant and relaxed. Théo our guide was super warm and friendly and gave us recommendations for our further trip on the island. He led the tour with a lot of knowledge and good mood. We always made sure that we treat the dolphins with respect and sufficient distance. Thank you, we enjoyed it very much and would do it again anytime!

It was great! The waether... - It was great! The waether was good and theo was very friendly. There were a lot of dolphins and the last part we were on the Tamarin river in the mangrove. That was alsof great!
