Fun filled learning experience - Loved my tour experience with Carlos. He was very knowledgeable and shared his expertise. These qualities made the tours very enjoyable. Would highly recommend Carlos to anyone and everyone for an excellent tour experience.

Great intro to CR - Lovely day, albeit long. Alex was a great tour guide. Picked up at Waldorf at 7am and got to national park around 9:30am. Hike to waterfall was about 15-20 mins, with some areas that were steep. Could not get all the way down to waterfall but did get some great photos. Hiked back and then hit up the fruit stand for some yummy coconut water and fresh fruit. Vendor's name was Margarita and she was lovely and welcoming. Next we drove by the blue river and my friend decided to take a quick swim. On the way out of the area Alex noticed some monkeys in the trees and stopped so we could see them. We drove about 5 minutes to a local restaurant for a delicious lunch (rice, black beans, salad, tilapia, plantains and local cheese) plus fresh fruit juice/smoothie. The last part of the day included a hike through the rainforest where we saw monkeys, birds, sloths, etc. Very cool. Then we made coffee from scratch and chocolate from scratch. A final stop was made at a souvenir shop. Again, very long day but was our only day away from the resort so we needed to pack in a few things.

Bucket list dream come true - Unbelievable trip and learned so much about Costa Rica! Jose was our tour guide and he was so informative. Could not have asked for a better tour guide. Also Junior who drove us and also guided was amazing and they took great care of us!!

Yes. Book it! Sloths. Monkeys. Vipers. - The moment Jose picked us up we knew we were in for a great day. He took a moment to shake both our hands, look us in the eye, and share a little bit of Costa Rican hospitality right out the gate. As we walked to the waterfall he was stopping to show us flora, fauna, and everything else along the way like a Helmeted Lizard, Native Butterflies, and very very deadly yet cute eyelash vipers (whoa). He had a true joy for sharing the information and backing it up with why the information was important. He’s a guide you want next to you to bring the entire day to life. Then the sloths. This was hands down a highlight for us to see sloths. One had come down and we were so close to see this guy moving around and climbing on trees at a slower Pura Vida sort of pace. We’ll never forget it. We also saw spider monkeys and white faced monkeys and plenty of other great wildlife. This tour was worth every penny and we feel lucky to have had Jose as our guide from pickup to drop off.

A great way to experience Costa Rica! - This tour was great! Our guide, Jose, was really good— full of facts and helped us spot a lot of animals. We saw all kinds of birds, including several toucans. We also saw three separate vipers, several frogs, butterflies, and some beautiful flowers. We saw several sloths, including a juvenile that was almost within arm’s reach! Lunch was great and the coffee/chocolate tour was very interesting. Jose even stopped to let us buy souvenirs on the way back. I’d definitely take another tour with these guys!

An Amazing Experience with the Best Guide! - A highlight of our trip! I traveled alone with my kids and was a bit nervous to book this, but Jose was an *amazing* guide. He made us all feel comfortable, ensuring that we had what we needed, that we were okay the whole time, and was constantly looking after us. He was an absolute pleasure to talk to all day, educating us on Costa Rica history and culture, and while we hiked he was able to point out so many different animals and take such great photos for us! Lunch was delicious—my very picky daughter still talks about how great the chicken was. We saw baby sloths up close, monkeys, vipers, frogs, a coral snake, so many birds, etc. Such a great experience—do not hesitate to book!

Great tour! - Jose was an amazing guide on this private tour, which he customized to where/when we wanted to do things! He had a lot of pride sharing details about his beautiful country. SUV felt luxurious, plenty of water and beer if you wanted. Would highly recommend!

Family Day Out - The tour guide and the driver were wonderful, knowledgeable, patient, kind, and respectful. The tours including the blue waterfall, sloth, coffee, and cocoa were very educational for us, especially our elementary kiddos. We enjoy our time with this team. Would high recommend them.
