Not only will participants have the chance to catch fish, but nature may also offer the incredible opportunity to see humpback whales (in season), dolphins, and sea turtles.
The tour includes snacks such as chips, dip, and fruits, along with beverages like beer, soda, and water.
Morning or afternoon tours are available, each lasting 4 hours. During this time, guests can potentially catch various species such as Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Sailfish, groupers, and snappers, while engaging in different fishing techniques like trolling, jigging, spinning, and deep-sea fishing.
Depending on the catch, guests can choose between catch and release or taking some fish home to enjoy after the tour. If fortunate, the crew may also prepare fresh sashimi on board for those who appreciate it!

Experience the thrill of fishing in the breathtaking waters of Tamarindo. Our local team knows precisely where the prime fishing spots are on the day of your adventure. With countless hours spent navigating these tides, the Captain and First Mate are eager to share their extensive knowledge of fishing in the stunning Pacific waters of Costa Rica. They will not only provide valuable insights into the various popular fishing techniques in the area but, if you’re fortunate, they can also fillet your catch for you to take home or enjoy as fresh sashimi on board.
You’ll be fishing on a 26ft Mako center console, accommodating up to 5 passengers. It is equipped with outriggers and all the essential gear that a top-notch fishing vessel requires. For your comfort, there is a toilet on board. You’ll find rods, reels, tackle, and lures ready for your use.
The trips are conducted with the assistance of a First Mate, and a 10-20% tip is customary to express gratitude for their dedication (not included in the tour price).
