Just outside Tampa’s downtown is the nursery for Tampa Bay’s dolphin population where mothers and calves frolic the day away.
Your guide will explain the daily life and habits of the dolphin on this 1.5-hour cruise. When your guides spot the pods of dolphins, the boat will stop within 30 feet (10 meters) or less as the guides have ways to get them to come right to the boats. Keep your cameras ready as you will see dolphins closer than you ever thought. You will be a master of dolphin spotting by the end of your cruise!
After seeing the dolphins you’ll head back to to downtown Tampa, cruising the channels and river and learning about the great city of Tampa.

Fun Dolphin Tour - Fantastic tour! Mark did a great job , was upbeat, friendly , provided a lot of Interesting details about local landmarks and history of the area. Very knowledgeable about the dolphins, managed to teach a lot without being dry. Loved this, would definitely recommend. Great for any age, would be a great trip for any homeschoolers.

Fun and informative! - Had a delightful time on this tour - so much interesting information and was impressed with how much Mark knew (and had memorized!) I will take visiting friends and family to this again. I would highly recommend.

A simple walk, but full of attractions. - Excellent tour, excellent cost-benefit, opportunity to observe dolphins in their habitat and opportunity to observe the beautiful city of Tampa, from the waters of the bay. Definitely, I recommend.

Great adventure - Capt. Mark was kind and caring. We boarded his boat on Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2026, it was a cool day for FL. Captain. Mark told us all kinds of facts about dolphins and Tampa. He knew where to go to find dolphins. We saw many, including a baby. If you get the chance to set sail with this company, do it, you won't be disappointed.

Totally worth it! - We were looking for a last minute thing to do in Tampa and we came across this tour. Mark was the captain of our boat and we went out into the bay in search of dolphins. On the way, Mark gave us information about dolphins that was interesting to hear. He found an area in the bay, turned on some music, (who knew that attracted dolphins) and we spent quite some time taking photos and videos of our sightings before heading back. It was a great time and I would highly recommend this tour if you have the time.

Review - Did not go. Person at phone number said there was a Coast guard advisory so cancelled. Did not get email. My email said trip confirmed at 215p. Hopefully will receive money back.
