As a seasoned traveler and wine enthusiast, I have had the pleasure of exploring some of the most exquisite vineyards and wine cellars across Europe. Yet, the allure of discovering unique varietals in Tampa was irresistible. Upon arrival at 1600 E 7th Ave, I was greeted with a warm welcome that set the tone for an afternoon of indulgence and discovery. Our guide, Dale, was a fountain of knowledge, eager to share insights into the world of wine. We began with a delightful Prosecco, its effervescence a testament to the meticulous method of its creation. The atmosphere was lively, with fellow wine enthusiasts gathered around, each eager to embark on this sensory journey.

A Symphony of Whites and Reds

The tasting session unfolded like a symphony, each wine a distinct note in a harmonious composition. We started with two whites, each a testament to the diversity of wine-making traditions. The first, an “old world” varietal, offered a complexity that danced on the palate, while the “new world” counterpart was a refreshing contrast, vibrant and full of character. Accompanying these were generous charcuterie plates, each bite enhancing the flavors of the wine. As we moved to the reds, the conversation flowed as freely as the wine.
