Just right - We are family annual pass holders and it’s so nice and gives lots of freedom. As we are able to bring a guest with us we brought my grandmother and she loves this zoo better than her local one (San Diego zoo) All the workers are amazing and really helped us when we needed help as we also have someone that uses a wheelchair in our family. We had so much fun feeding the stingrays! It’s nice that they have extras to add on but you don’t have to do them.

Great zoo - Wonderful zoo. The signs at the zoo explain the animals well. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The zoo is large and we spent the majority of our day there.

Beautiful, clean zoo. - This zoo is outstanding in every way. The animals, layout, rides, chats, water splash area, food and the safari were all special for us. My 5 year old granddaughter was not bored for even a minute. We arrived at 9:30 as they opened and had the zoo to ourselves until about lunchtime. Clean as can be. We live in Pennsylvania and will return here with more grandchildren.

a very nice zoo, but quite crowded the day we went. - We went on a Monday before we realized it was President's day and the place was FULL of kids. we literally got the last parking place in the employee overflow lot down the block. That should have been a tip off. However the zoo is quite large and even with the crowds we were able to see most of the outdoor animal exhibits. They did have some parts closed off for a private event which I didn't like. The animals seemed to be well cared for and the enclosures were clean and large enough to be healthy for the animals. There was good signage telling us what animals we were seeing. The zoo staff with whom we interacted were helpful and knowledgeable. The manatee underwater viewing area was closed off. We didn't eat there although there seemed to be a number of places to do so. The admission is a bit pricey at $50 per adult, but it does go to feeding and housing the animals so thats OK.

First Visit - Husband and I took our 1 year old daughter and it was a total blast! We got there around 11am and left around 3pm due to rain but we still have quite a bit to experience for when we go back! For it to have been a Saturday the crowd was way more manageable than we thought it would be which was a very nice surprise! We had the pizza from Africa and it was delicious. It was our first visit with an annual pass and it was extremely easy to get a physical card and add members.

Closed early and asked people to leave - We went on a colder day, and there were hardly any animals out. Particularly sad were the endangered dogs in a small enclosure; you could see the worn path and one pacing restlessly while another played on top of a metal box. Not nearly enough space for tj yo run, stretch their legs, or lay in the sun. It’s a small zoo, with not a lot to see, but we had a full section left when staff approached us and told us that we’d have to leave because they had decided to close early due to colder weather and a lack of people coming in. We weren’t allowed to finish, they escorted us to the exit, where we promptly requested a refund. Absolutely terribly way to treat paying guests.
