- Karang Tengah - Upon a warm welcome from the Balinese guide and driver at the reserved accommodation along the selected southern beaches, the journey transitions from the coastal areas to the countryside. The first stop is a traditional Balinese house compound, known as a karang. A Balinese home is a complex blend of various elements, including a form of feng shui (the interaction between the physical and spiritual worlds), economic status, caste, kinship, and practical social needs. Discover the architectural significance at a family compound before proceeding to Mas, a village renowned for its woodcarving artisans.
- Ubud Traditional Art Market - The next destination is Ubud, a village of artists, where the market showcases their exquisite creations.
- Mount Batur - The journey continues to Kintamani, where the stunning UNESCO-recognized rice terraces of Tegalalang can be admired. Kintamani is located on the western side of Gunung Batur’s caldera, offering a picturesque setting with views of the towering active volcano and its crater lake. The villagers maintain their agricultural roots, with a market held every three days selling local produce, lake-caught fish, and locally grown oranges. The tour’s highlight is reaching the ridge of Mount Batur, providing breathtaking views of the 7.5-km volcano crater below. A delightful lunch at a local restaurant concludes the morning.
- Elephant Cave - On the return journey to your home away from home, a visit to the enchanting Goa Gajah Temple is included. This intriguing Hindu cave, rediscovered in the 1920s, features a demonic mouth as its entrance. Also known as Elephant Cave, it is situated near the Elephant River, and inside, stories about the temple’s significance complete this full-day tour before returning to the resort.
