Excellent tour of Tangiers - Great experience. Mohcine was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable, passionate about sharing history of his country, informative about the sites we visited. He was proud of his country and was very polite. He did not rush us and led us to a spot where we had an enjoyable Moroccan lunch. We highly recommend him as a guide.

Outstanding Day trip to Morocco from Cadiz. - I everything was seamless from the private transfer in Cádiz to the ferry to the amazing tour of Tangier. Our guide, Chafik, was wonderful- knowledgeable, friendly, funny and well connected. He gave us the history and set a good pace but was flexible and spoke perfect English for us. I cannot recommend the tour company and guide enough!! Don’t miss this one!! We hope to go back again!

Meh - This was a two-part tour. The first part entailed a driver (who didn't speak English) who took us to a park, Cap Spartel and the Caves of Hercules. These sites were nothing to write home about. We got out and walked around by ourselves while the driver waited. At our request, he took us to a beach for a camel ride. I thought it was included, but it was not. He then drove us to the Medina where we met an English speaking guide. The guide walked us around the Kasbah and the Medina for about an hour. He did share some history of the place with us.

The guide, Omar, was on... - The guide, Omar, was on his phone the entire time. We did not follow the planned itinerary. We weren’t taken to the Hercules caves, Achakkar beach, or the Kasbah museum. We were dropped off at the American legion museum and had to pay admission even though the description says the admission is included. We were taken to a restaurant that was a definite tourist trap with overpriced food and poor service. We were not given a choice of where to eat. The tour mainly consisted of riding around in a car with two or three stops for photos. The tour guide, Omar, spoke poor English and was unable to give us much information about Tangier or answer questions. The tour was rushed and a bad experience over all.

Very poor and abusive! - She's very badly made. I had booked a visit in French, but a day before the scheduled date, I was asked to change the time and finally I ended up with a visit in English. The guide was very limited in the animation and its explanations. The planned visit to the Kasbah Museum did not take place. On the other hand, we were forced to eat in a restaurant without asking our opinion as well as to make vistas of shops in order to make us buy their products. In short, a very disappointing tour and visit!!

The Warm and Charming Scam - The people we encountered were very warm and endearing. Unfortunately they were often in a position of having to apologize profusely for things “out of their control”. This applied to our guide “Mo” who had the very difficult task of spinning the news that our “private VIP” tour was in fact going to include a van full of other people. And it applied to our waiter who ignored us for most of our 90 minute lunch (I had to get up from the table and specifically ask for the table to be cleaned, then wiped, then our order to be taken, then for drinks, then utensils, etc.). It was sheer madness as the manager yelled at his staff and nothing seemed to get done! Later I was informed that the company had tried to connect with me while I was on the cruise ship and basically did me a favor not leaving us stranded on the dock. We had no WIFI at that time so I was assuming that just like ever other TripAdvisor tour we had taken, they were of high quality and could be trusted. The narrative was that there are about 100 or so licensed guides and thousands coming off the cruise ships. The company man had no answer when I asked then why do you even have a private VIP option if you know you have no capacity to honor that commitment? So, in short we felt scammed and cheated out of the types of experiences we had had in the other ports. Even having been there, I still have no idea of the layout of Tangier and didn’t see the landmarks I wanted to see. But I got plenty of watching other people riding camels in the hot sun ( no facilities at all), being pitched expensive carpets and oils, and wasting most the remainder of the day in a hot restaurant with no AC. It was the experience THEY wanted us to have so they could maximize profits for the day. So be it. But now I must warn my fellow cruisers…BUYER BEWARE…you are unlikely to get a private VIP in Tangiers!
