Fabulous Tangier Tour with Abdelmoghit - Fabulous day with Abdelmoghit! He took us to all the top sites and is so knowledgeable about Tangier history, culture, food, architecture, everything. He was flexible with our schedule and the places we wanted to visit. Loved winding through the Kasbah neighborhood and the streets of Medina, visiting the amazing marketplace, with the handcrafted fabrics and ceramics and the wonderful spices and finishing with a delicious local dinner. Great tour and guide!

Five Stars Isn’t Enough - If you go to Morocco without someone like Abdel guiding you, you are missing out on some incredible context about the places you’re visiting. Abdel speaks four languages and he has an encyclopedic knowledge of the history of Morocco/Tangier history. He’s also genuinely kind and a great example of the culture of hospitality this part of the world is famous for.

A memorable day in Tangier - My family and I had an absolutely perfect day exploring Tangier with Abdel. He is a consummate tour guide and had prepared a full day that provided a wonderfully balanced experience of the city and Moroccan culture, exploring the coastline, riding camels, tasting delicious Moroccan specialities, discovering gorgeous corners and allies in the Kasbah, and shopping in the Medina. Having explored Tangier with Abdel and his driving partner, I can’t imagine arriving in Tangier and trying to experience the city on our own. Abdel is thoughtful and articulate in sharing stories of the city and Moroccan history, and we look forward to returning for a longer visit and touring more of the region with Abdel. I would highly recommend spending the day with Abdel !

All day tour very informative with Mohit - Good communication prior to all and then efficient pick up. Went to the Hercules Cave and Cap Spartel before an afternoon walking in the bizarre and Medina and Kasbah. Informative guide thanks Mohit

Wow! Abdel was Fantastic!!! - Abdel went well beyond our expectations. My wife and I planned a day trip from Tarifa to Tangier. First when our ferry was cancelled and we were rescheduled to a 2 hour later ferry he happily changed the start time of our tour. We had planned to do a 6.5 hour private tour and then look around and go to dinner prior to catching the late ferry back. He picked us up from the ferry at 12:00 and escorted us back to the ferry at 20:30. He is very passionate and knowledgeable about his country, his city, his culture and his faith! It was truly a cultural tour. We saw the wealthiest, the middle class and the poor. The camel ride was cheesy, but we must admit we loved the experience. The walk through the the Kasbah and the Medina were beautiful and educational. The place he took us for dinner had delicious food. Would highly recommend Abdel for your private cultural tour! Shokran Abdel - Wa alaikum salaam!

Warmth and Caring חמימות ואכפתיות - Abdelmoghit shared his life growing up in Tangier while showing us the best of the city. He tailored our tour to our interests and needs including consideration for accessibility issues. We really appreciated that he showed us the beautifully restored synagogues in the Medina. מדריך מקסים ומלאת איכפתיות. הכין לנו סיור שלקח בחשבון את העניין שלנו בקהילה היהודית וכן מגבלות ניידות של חלק מהאנשים בקבוצה. ממליצה בחום רב.

For a superb day in Tangier, take this tour! - We only had one day for Tangier--we took the high speed train up from Casablanca--and Abdelmoghit absolutely helped us make it a perfect one. With Mohamed, our excellent driver, we not only saw the classic Tangier sites like Cap Spartel and the Caves of Hercules, but sites related to Paul Bowles, William Burroughs, and other writers who spent time in Tangier. Our walk through the Kasbah was so beautiful and we knew we were getting a look at places many tourists don't see. He also helped us find shops where we were able to get incredible Moroccan goods; in fact, since we left, other Moroccans have commented on both the bag and carpet that we bought as being top quality. Finally, the restaurants we ate at were amazing. I can't recommend this guide highly enough, you will have a wonderful day!

An Excellent DayTrip in Morocco with Professor Abdelmoghit - Our family of six took a private Tangiers tour with guide Abdelmoghit and his driver, Mohammed. It was a wonderful all-day trip to most all of the city of Tangiers and to the coast for the required camel ride. Abdel spoke perfect English (plus several other languages) and offered insights and his 30+ years of knowledge about the city. We went to a local park, had a great tea/snack break, drove to the coast for the camel ride, then spent time in the old city (Kasbah / Medina) and ate at a wonderful restaurant (one that Abdel recommended). Overall a 5-star experience. I took off one star with the following recommendations (our opinions only): a) we would skip the Cave of Hercules (I know it may be a national monument for Morocco, but the steep entrance price of 8 Euro pp into an underwhelming cave) was not worth it; b) instead of the Hercules cave, we would have paid more for a camel ride on the beach, instead of a short 'walk-around' on the sandy bluff (still fun, but we were all jealous of watching other riders on the beach itself); c) would spend more time wandering around the Kasbah / Medina (see below) ; the restaurant had excellent staff and food, but I would recommend ordering yourself off the menu and sharing with your family or friends at the table. We saw some items that we would have liked to try but was not ordered for us; Shopping: at the end of the tour, we were taken to a particular shop that sold rugs and decorative items. We spent about 25-30 minutes listening to the nice older gentleman do everything he could to get us to pay $2500 for a beautiful rug (a 10' x 3' runner). We recognize the craftsmanship and 'investment' in such a rug, but unless you're really interested in a rug, the shop I wouldn't go to for more than a few minutes. It seemed liked we were 'dropped off' at the shop and had to stay for the entire pitch. I would've preferred to wander around more and see what others had to offer. Then we went to a shop selling herbal skin products. Again, a somewhat long pitch which for 1/2 of our group (the men) had little interest (the ladies though bought some items). Overall, the tour was fantastic, everyone who has never been should take the 1-hr ferry from Tarifa and enjoy a day in Morocco. It was NOTHING like we imagined . . . very cosmopolitan and GREAT PEOPLE.
