A day in Tangier with Nabil and team - From the beginning/ booking, I sensed this would be a better than normal experience I spoke with Nabil late-ish the night before and didn't even have a booking yet. He took the time to explain everything about the tour and several times told me o could customize essentially as much as I wanted.
We decided on a private day and made the booking. I had just experienced cooking a private day tour in Gibraltar and getting both overcharged then rushed since the other party (on my private tour) didn't book all the things we did. That guide also skipped one of the stops. Then I saw the comment in a previous Nabil review stating the same. I asked about it and it was clear that Nabil was unhappy about that review as he took it as an insult since it seemed not to be true. He assured me our tour would be private (it was).
Nabil asked us several times during the tour if there was anything we wanted to do different. We asked for vegetarian meals and he accommodated...every person in the restaurant knew and reiterated vegetarian (wife has seafood allergies on top of our choices).
Each spot was explained with gusto.
His uncle met us and said "vamos" a lot lol. His english wasn't perfect (another complaint of a previous reviewer) but it was fine for the day.
One of the things I can't stand about tours is when they take you to shops where a hard sell is done. Without even asking, the moment I expressed a doubt, he stood up and said "ok let's go" and said something to the shop owner. It was greatly appreciated and I told him so.
He helped us with the ferry from Spain. He had a good sense of humour and told some good stories.
It was, in all, a good day.

Beautiful city, and great guide - There is no one better than Majid. No better guide for Tangier Morocco either. Not only was he knowledgeable about the area and sights he shared the history and personal observations that enhanced the whole experience quite a bit. He made the trip worth it and then some. From the camel riding to the Hercules caves to the beautiful city and all it's common and some uncommon areas to uncover for the first time with our eyes, he enhanced every step through history with his stories and wonderful demeanor. It was like enjoying the art, craftsmanship, and beauty of Tangiers with an old friend. Thanks for a great visit to your amazing city Majid!

An excellent tour in every way. - We booked last minute due to lack of planning on our part. Jabril was booked but he arranged another guide for us, Mohommed. Mohamed was pleasant, knowledgeable and eager to please us. The car took us throughout the various areas of Tangiers and he explained the history and current nationality make-up of each. As we left the city, we drove through hilly wooded area which is home to the King's palace and other regal palace's and summer homes. As we crested the hill we were greeted wth expansive views of the seas where the Atlantic and Mediterranean meet. Along the seacoast we got to stop and take a camel ride (so touristy, but so much fun!) and to visit Hercules Cave - again, touristy, but not to be missed. Back in the car, we re-entered the city from the back and climbed the winding streets to the entrance to the Kasbah (fortress). The car dropped us off and Mohammed led us by foot through the ancient streets. The casbah seemlessly transforms into the Medina (old city) where a more lively scene is present - shops, cafes, children playing, etc. Mohammed suggested a place for lunch., Vandalucia. It was a bright, pleasant place with excellent local food, reasonably priced (Euros, no credit card). After lunch, Mohammed continued our tour brought the Medina. One stop for a sales pitch for essential oils did not spoil the tour because we were firm in refusing to sit through said sales pitch and we were certain we ere not in need of any essential oils. Mohammed was flexible in taking us where we wanted to go and got us safely back to our cruise terminal.

Great Tour - We had a wonderful experience tour guide was very professional. We were onw the tour with another family which was fine with us. Guide was very accomodating to my husband who has bad knees. I highly recommend this tour.

Amazing tour of Tangier - What an amazing tour of Tangier! Lina was our guide and she was absolutely amazing. She was beyond knowledgeable and helpful. The camel rides on the beach were spectacular. It was an incredible way to see Tangier. I would highly recommend.

Amazing experience! - We booked a full day tour and had a wonderful experience. We had already experienced certain parts of Tangier so our guide Lina was able to customize the tour to spend more time in the places we hadn’t been yet. She also helped us find a restaurant to meet our dietary needs for lunch. Thank you for a wonderful day!

Camel Ride - We are currently on a 12 day cruise to Spain,Morocco and Canary Island.
This was the best excursion so far.
It was easy to find our guide directly outside the port.
She was extremely knowledgeable about Tangier and spoke several languages that made it easy for all guests. The Transportation was extremely comfortable and accessible.
Our guide took us to local vendors and a great Moroccan restaurant.
The highlight of the excursion was the camel ride.
Our group consisted of 10 people that ages ranged from 3 to 65 years old.
I would recommend this excursion to just about everyone.

Best Tangier tour ever! - Nabil was an absolute legend! We enjoyed our tour so much! His communication was outstanding and his driver Mohammed was so nice. We saw everything in the city and more. He allowed us to have the details and decisions we needed to make this the perfect private tour. He guided us through the streets and helped us make decisions on how to make the best use of our time. We were able to get everything on our checklist we wanted and more! We felt safe and comfortable the entire day!

False advertisement! - It is advertised as a PRIVATE tour and we end up with another couple, and one of them was barely mobile.
Our tour guide was supposed to Nabil, but he was only with us for the driving part of the tour, after that the tour went down hill. Nabil dumped us on his "uncle" whose English was almost non-existent. He took us to local tourist trap restaurant, the food seemed touristy and they didn't make any accomodations for Gluten Free food, even though I informed them about my allergy in the reservation. You know a restaurant is authentic when you see local people eating there, we are surrounded by tourists.
And then off we went to the con market. Nabil told us not to buy anything in Rabat, but thankfully we didn't listen to him! We were dragged from one store to another where the owners were his "uncle's" friends selling junk from China, something Nabil assured us wouldn't happen.
Our "trip" to the American Legation museum consisted of taking a picture in front of it.
When we were done with tour of the Casbah, Nabil magically reappeared. When I asked him where he was all that time, he said he was with the driver!
So, buyer beware! Who knows how many of Nabil 's reviews are real.
The camel ride was woderful, the snake charmer was good, just pick a different tour company.
