The tour starts at the Casbah, a 15th-century fortification, and a significant point of the Medina (old city). You will encounter snake charmers, enjoy views from the terrace overlooking the Strait of Gibraltar, and wander through the labyrinthine streets and alleyways of the medina, exploring the Berber spice markets and mingling with craftsmen. Visit the souks (markets), Petite Soco, Grand Soco, Mendoubia Gardens, and more.
There will be a stop at a typical Moroccan restaurant for an additional drink or lunch. Transportation is provided in a private van or taxi to and from the port of Tangier.

A well rounded tour to learn the way of life in old and new times. - Our guide Bilal was friendly, knowledgeable in the history of Tanger and Morocco and could speak very good English. He took us through the Medina section of the town in a walking tour and explained the culture and different customs and way of living for people in past and now. He showed us local shops and their specialties and we sampled some of them. He did not push us to buy any particular product and he left it to us to decide. He arranged for the taxi from our hotel and back to the hotel.
Bilal also arranged a tour to the Blue City where a local tour guide by name of Amina showed us around the town and mostly in the Medina (Older) section of the town. She was very friendly and everyone in town knew her. We highly recommend her as well.
Without a knowledgable tour guide all the history and ways of life is not noticed when walking around the town.

Excellent Walking Tour of Tangiers - The tour we took in Tangiers with our guide Bilal. He was absolutely amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable, and informative, warm and kind. I would say without a doubt one of the very best experiences we have had on any tour. The Old Medina was so interesting with a Labyrinth of small streets, had we tried to negotiate them ourselves we would definitely have got lost. When we reached the top of the Old Medina walled city, I was even was brave enough to have a photo taken with the Snake Charmer. Our guide Bilal took us to a food market too, very vibrant and busy. At the end of the tour, I had enjoyed it so much that it made me want to come back and explore more of this wonderful city. Thank you Bilal for looking after us so well. Very Highly Recommended 💖

Great walk through Tangier - Bilal was the best tour guide we could imagine! He picked us up at the port exit and we hit it off immediately. The walk through Tangier took three hours and we saw so many beautiful corners. Bilal told us a lot about history and the country and his religion to Islam. He edged out perfectly and we took small alleys that were beautiful and bypassed the tourist groups. We had plenty of time for photos and small shopping trips. Tangier liked us so much that we will gladly come back and Bilal will gladly book again!

An amazing guide - Bilal is an amazing guide. He is knowledgable and helpful. My mom wanted to experience the markets and we did. We also got some history of the place and the people. He safe guarded us from tourist traps and he gave us a feel for life in tangiers. We visited an amazing natural pharmacy. My husband and I bought a beautiful hand made carpet. Also my mom got a couple of amazing kaftans.

Fantastic Tangier tour with Bilal! - Our tour was with Bilal and he created an amazing day for us! He was flexible with a meeting spot and was a wealth of knowledge regarding all the cultures that have merged to become part of Tangier. He took us to great shopping, a local coffee shop, and an amazing lunch spot! Not to mention all the cultural highlights of Tangier we could possibly ask for!! I could not imagine a better day!

This tour was absolutely incredible! It was way better than I had imagined. Bilal was so friendly and super fun! - It was the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had! All the sights we saw and all the history to accompany them were awesome! The beautiful scenery of Tangier, plus amazing authentic food, was top-notch! Plus, the driver and tour guide, Bilal, was like a friend I’d known forever. I highly recommend him!

Bilal is the best! - Bilal was a phenomenal guide! He met us where we were finishing up breakfast and took us around the Medina, which he knew inside and out as he grew up there. He loved history and culture, and took time to answer all our questions in depth. It felt like the tour was customized for us because he took time to learn about our interests. He left us at a wonderful lunch spot and helped us order all our food before leaving. If you have limited time in Tangier, this is the absolute best way to use use that time because you will have so much fun and learn a lot about Tangier! Highly highly recommend Bilal!!

Fantastic day trip to tangiers - We took a day trip over to Tangier's and met Bilal. Recommended by a friend. We had a fantastic day, Bilal was very knowledgeable and could answer any questions we asked. We had a great day, would definitely recommend getting in touch with Bilal for any excursions in morrocco.
